Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

Now, I wouldn't take the art as a smoking gun since the overdesigned stick figures of Viv's artstyle shouldn't be too hard to replicate in black and white (I think?), and Baxter himself hasn't been brought up for a LONG fucking time.
Pretty sure I'm the only person who's even mentioned Baxter on this thread.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Michael Kovach being Rocky in Lackadaisy and no longer being Angel Dust, incidentally one of the biggest losses from going to "normal" TV and having to deal with union bullshit.
It definitely wasn't union bullshit. Something personal went down and they're not talking about it.

I honestly don't know if Viv just always intended to chew up and spit out her whole voice cast, or if something happened between her and Michael behind the scenes, and she felt like firing all his friends in addition to him just to be petty, because both decisions seem on brand for her.

I don't know what to believe anymore about (most of?) the Hazbin pilot cast being let go. It definitely seems like something happened between them and Viv, but at the same time, it being union bullshit made enough sense. I'm more inclined to believe the email leak and Michael though.

Well according to this tweet, some of the cast members were already a part of the union, but weren't asked to return. There is definitely more to this then just some union bullshit.

This is definitely some bullshit. Getting rid of the VAs who were literally the basis of the show out of some spite fit makes Vivz look like a complete piece of shit.

More importantly, does anyone think anyone other than Michael Kovach can voice Angel Dust? That best be some Mel Blanc level motherfucker.

She's ripped out the intestines of her own show, out of dumb spite. Weird grudges.

It shouldn't be surprising. But what the fuck? Bitch had the best route from indie to real TV and self-sabotaged.

I know she did this before (Cameron? Who?) but wtf.

How long before one of the employees gets accused or accuses someone for sexual assault?

If Viv fired her cast on purpose, I feel like knowing her, she is pulling a Kojima and probably wanted bigger name voice actors to do the characters.

I mean why else would she hire Kesha and Norman Reedus to play characters that are likely meant to be recurring.

A few hours ago the r/HazbinHotel subreddit posted an episode list found on the United States Copyright Public Catalogue. The AyyLmao channel reported on this as well:

I wonder if this is just a cropped section of the page or if there are more episodes. Because eight 22 minute episodes doesn't... sound like a lot, especially with the kind of story Vivzie is trying to make. But maybe a restricted length would force Viv to focus on things better. Any theories on what the episodes are about?

Not a cropped list, this is the full page. It lends some credence to what Bought Out and Fired Over Zoom 4chan Anon said about cutting the whole thing from 10 episodes down to 8.

If that one insider leak is legit, then A24 really did shut down a lot of what Viv originally had planned. Eight episodes is indeed not a lot, especially if they only greenlit Hazbin for one season.

As for theories on the episodes themselves,

-Episode 1: Probably a rehash of the pilot, likely Charlie-focused
-Episode 2: Alastor and Vox
-Episode 3: Sir Pentious
-Episode 5: Either Lucifer or Henroin, Angel Dust's dad
-Episode 6: Heaven (duh)
-Episode 7: Rosie (again, duh)

4 and 8 are more vague. If this really is all they made for Hazbin (so far), then 8 will either be an attempt at some kind of conclusion or a cliffhanger. In the case of the former, expect it to be rushed and thoroughly unsatisfying.
