I mean you're not wrong, American Urban Planning is honestly terrible (I'm not a burger but parts of my country are very much inspired by American Urban Planning) and you end up with hubs of areas that are defined more by Road Infrastructure than any actual need or want. Shopping Malls are just large areas to buy shit with Parking and not much else to do.
