My only guess is that it's because she's doing what they wish they could do -- being an open based female (that's not really something to aspire to considering the men who operate in that space are a bunch of slag from the Trump Era).

Pearl in many ways is probably what those women wish they were - rich; soaked in attention; a choice of dicks to ride; and able to say all the things openly they wish they could. She's not unattractive, just plain, so it's not like they can really attack her on looks.
