Very close to dropping Sagan Hawkes after his last video. The subject of faggot rights and experiences has cropped up briefly in one of his more recent videos (the one where he talks about the FNAF creator's donation scandal), and now his newest one is all about that kind of shit. I feel he may soon become a troon himself, but that seems to be par for the course for anyone that looks too deeply into horror related videogames on YouTube.

i used to watch mauler, about 6 years ago. it was his saturday livestreams. it was good background noise. but it was one of these streams, where mauler said that making film critic reviews was more difficult than making actual films.

Pretty much every youtuber saying shit like this is an instant turn off from me, i was already on my way out of the whole political grifter audience, but when i heard Styxhexenhammer666 say something akin to "making these videos is harder than working a normal job" that was my cue

This has to be a condition or something, reminds me about those celebrity kids or socialites that feel so guilty about being born privileged that they want everyone to know how much they give back to the world, but with youtubers it's more like guilt of knowing that they're earning more than your average joe while doing basically no work at all, so they try to excuse it somehow.

God there was this one video from waaaay back then when Fortnite was super big, there was a coding youtuber I think that was making a Mario Battle Royale online type web game before eventually shutting it down due to Nintendo coming by with a copyright notice.
But before that, he made a video talking about adding a anti-cheat program that would stop cheaters or botters from ruining the fun for everyone, and in it he includes screencaps of /v/ users seething at the fact they can't cheat at Fortnite Mario anymore.
I know /v/fags are generally pretty subhuman, but I remember that video coming off as incredibly self-aggrandizing and smug that this faggot is dancing around /v/anons like "hAHA, oh Golly Gee! look at these 4channers getting mad that they can't cheat anymore! I'm so heckkin superior and showing everyone how embarassing you all are!" that generally left a bad taste in my mouth that I shouldn't watch anything else from this fag.

Hawkes had a few decent videos but yea his more recent stuff really suck. Couldn't bother sitting through his Off video when he said that the game used a battle system like FNAF World..... Come on my nigga, its not even like Final Fantasy is a dead series, for fuck sakes Square re-releases their old games like every year lol.

On the topic of zoomer video game channels, one that I enjoyed for a while before dropping it was a guy called Fraki. He did some interesting videos on handheld ports of games, like the PSP Assassins Creed and Vita Call of Duty. Though I dropped him when he made a video talking about bad handheld ports, one of the games being a handheld port of Earthworm Jim. Of course instead of just talking about the shitty game he has to spend far to long talking about how much of a bigot Doug Ten Apples is. Whats even better and makes me extra glad I dropped him is that I forgot what his channel was called and had to find him only to discover that he has trooned out. Even changed his channel name to Lexx, some extra laughs came when I checked out his most recent video and heard the obvious troon voice.

While its funny he is a tranny weirdo now it just sucks that I can't just have a normal, interesting channel that talks about gaming. They all have to be either super cringe shills, gender special lefties, or hyper autistic pol tards. I just want a normal dude who likes games and talks about games without bringing any political or gender shit into what he makes and I mean that from both sides of the argument.

Sometimes I "start" watching a YouTuber and stop watching a YouTuber in the same video. Oh what's that, a cool seemingly well-made video essay that makes for good background noise and seems to cover an interesting enough topic? Sure would be unfortunate if there was sudden, unwarranted political sperging and feeling the need to inform the audience of right and wrong through the lens of two-party political systems.

The fastest this has happened to me was with a video about the movie Delgo. It was recommended by The Algorithm and it seemed like okay background noise.

The FIRST word this faggot said was "Racism?" in that tone that suggests he's going to make those "jokes" where he sees something vaguely racist and goes "oof yikes chief that aged poorly oof".
Went from being mildly interested in the video to disliking and blocking the channel in less than 5 seconds.

Synthetic Man is right about every member of The Fandom Menace being a boring, self righteous, unfunny, waste of skin.

Okay so....Cynical Reviews.

I don't agree with the lady who made the movie on most things and I'm generally indifferent on the abortion issue.

But I got a really weird feeling upon watching the intro and the "right-wing brain rot" comment because it's so ubiquitous and I roll my eyes whenever I hear it anywhere. So oversaturation of that talking point made my alarm bells ring and I fear that it's gonna be a recurring thing. He also made it very clear he's pro-abortion so his biases are gonna show, even warning anti-abortionists to click off in a manner that I can't decide if it was condescending or considerate.

I don't think Cynical is a full-out leftoid breadtuber. He can make fun of leftist shit too (that cringe Sarah Silverman Christmas special and specifying to twitter fujos that two men can be friends without it being totes queer)

So I won't unsub just yet but I will skip this one.

Just recently I went from watching someone's channel for the first time to blocking them from my recommendations in about 30 seconds.
I tried playing Family Guy Video Game for PSP (it's a shit game you're better off just watching the game online) and once I was done with it I wanted to see some actual reviews to see what other people thought about it. This video here came up with a million views so I thought "Okay, maybe this is worth watching."

Within the first ten seconds they're fucking seething over a joke about sandniggers ("wOw THaT iS jUsT cOMeDy") but I kept pushing forward, but within these next ten seconds they were seething over a fucking Stephen Hawking joke that I thought was kind of funny. At this point I've already wasted twenty+ seconds of my life and I should've clicked off a long time ago but for whatever reason I kept watching, only for them to start seething over a clip where Chris is in blackface. At this point I've fucking had enough and came to the conclusion that these soyboy tards have sticks up their asses and are unable to enjoy ANYTHING remotely edgy even if it's from a notorious shitlib like Seth MacFarlane. Fuck them.

There's a YouTuber I like who specializes in reviewing adult games (hentai) and I dread the day he changes. He recently did a stream where he says that while he's thankful for each and every fan he gets, he's not your fucking friend and he doesn't want to be. He refuses to make a discord and hates the idea of the forced community every YouTuber has now. It was genuinely so refreshing to hear in a sea of "we're all friends here. " Type bullshit.

- Act Man, already on the path to cringe influencer status, the non-stop twitter drama and tranny guarding ensured I stay away.

I think it was the "Why You Should Watch Disturbing Horror Movies" video that was the tipping point. It was around that time that he started to (or maybe I just started noticing him) bend over backwards in all of his videos to justify liking certain pieces of media that could be seen as "problematic." I can't tell if it's because he's scared of the far left audience he's accrued over the years or if he's genuinely so insecure that he thinks liking problematic fiction makes him some sort of monster, but it's really pathetic to see. It just made me lose any respect I had for him when he kept reiterating that "I love this movie that has [bad thing] in it but I still condemn [bad thing]!!!! Always remember that [bad thing] is bad!!!!"

Over time he seemed to just get so spineless I couldn't stand to watch him anymore, and I unsubscribed.

Are we allowing other media or just YT? I used to listen to a podcast called Canadian True Crime, its an Australian lady living in Canada doing a podcast about Canadian murders.

There was an episode covering a case where a pajeet murdered a transgender prostitute and the defence was he didn't know the person was trans, had a spac attack and killed them. A lot of the episode was the typical "the victim was beautiful and valid" etc etc. which is all fine. But when it started talking about how a transgina is no different to a real vagina and the killer would have no way of knowing the victim was born male and therefore their defence was invalid I had to peace out. To be fair I think that was actually part of the prosecution for the case based on some "expert" doctor but still.
