Vaguely familiar because of that picture where he flexes which I saw before, probably in the Russia thread.
He seems like a generic shitlib lunatic that causes more harm than good through inconsistent opinions and cynical approaches to foreign relationships (i.e. America good, NATO good, rest bad) that are based on a desire to win and not principle.
I am generally sickened by these types. I wanna win too, but I want to win because my principles are better, more consistent, and honest, not just randomly.
Austria is kinda in a weird place now.
Interestingly enough, it's been keeping Romania and Bulgaria out of the Schengen area allegedly because of migration, even though we meet the EU conditions. That is causing economic losses due to slowed commerce etc. and a lot of resentment, to the point where Romania has blocked Austria from participating in some NATO meetings, quite probably as retaliation.
In a way what Austria's doing is kinda retarded, but also kinda good, as it forces more debate on migration. It's a debate based on lies, cause it's not Bulgaria and Romania who are at fault for mass migration, but countries like Germany, Austria, Sweden, France etc., who have opened their borders to waves of refugees that have to pass through somewhere. Even like that, the data suggests that other routes are more prolific than the Balkans and that both Bulgaria and Romania's borders are quite well policed. But it's still a way to force the EU to do something other than trying to redistribute the Lampedusa cases all through Europe.
Since I don't really care if we're in Schengen cause I can already go where I please, I'm somewhat supportive of Austria forcing this debate, even though it makes Romania and Bulgaria look like 2nd class Europeans. My feelings come way below me wanting migration to be forced to a stop.
