Has anyone ever noticed the lack of creative women, especially in writing? I can't name a single female author besides Jane Austin, and she's a horrible writer. It seems like 99% of what women are capable of writing about is strictly men and relationships, they're obsessed bros. I don't even hate all women, only the fat ones.
Writing is probably the only creative field with an almost 100% gender parity, with men and women having almost equal quality output throughout history. No doubts, women are generally better at writing on average cause writing requires a big vocabulary and lots of unnecessary emotional pseudointellectualism which women are great at, I can attest. Its like the bell curve, the best writers are male but women write better on average. Men and women specialize in different genres too, women are generally better in writing horror and drama while men are better in writing action and conflict.
how can you only name one female author? im not a book nerd and even i can name like 10 off the top of my head. virginia woolf, all 3 bronte sisters , agatha christie, and seriously how can you forget mary shelley, creator of frankenstein?
women also write a TON of childrens lit that leads children into becoming readers in their adult hood. mary pope osborne, ka applegate, suzanne collins, barbara park, yes even jk rowling. you dont have to like their work, but saying that there aren't any creative female writers isn't accurate.
Male writing generally peaked with pulp novels and fizzled out from there. post the 50s thereve been like 3 or 4 male writers who are genuinely excellent, better than women even but women have sold more books and are generally more popular. JKR, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie and even the relative nobody like Suzanne Collins who can get away ripping off Battle Royale will always be more popular than Philip K Dick, Michael Crichton and Robert E Howard. The latter are genuinely better writers IMO but the former are more well known, most people dont even know who those latter three are despite Hollywood having plagiarized all of their work for over 40 years. The childrens books part is particularly accurate, even How To Train Your Dragon was written by a woman.
Anne Rice is one of the few authors who actually discourages fanfiction of her characters and i sort of respect that. imagine how assblasted some fans must be. she does the vampire genre the best

This is one of the reasons I refer to the British Invasion Writers, mainly Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman as feminine writers. They write everything from the same emotional pseudointellectual lens to the point where they could just as well be female writers. So many pages of useless emo garbage and unnecessary words about characters feelings. It was really funny to me that Saga of Swamp thing has all the things which women put into their stories, from Abuse to Incest to Necrophilia to Zoophilia to Plantphilia and by the end of the series the woman and the plantman run into the sunset cause humanity is evil and men are evil. That kind of writing is nice to read, observe inside a cage and contemplate on a surface level, just think about how fucked up it is. I dont think women can write a relatable prescriptive power fantasy, something which is aspirational or inspirational.
Thomas Carlyle and Tom Wolfe are also based, although Sartor Resartus does not really qualify as a novel. I'd put Goethe in there too. Wife of Bath's Tale as well.
Carlyle and his like seem preachy, especially after the NRX movement have been pushing him hard. Its the same reason I hate Evola, fucking retarded Kraut wants to preach about how hes the superior man. It makes sense why you would like him though.
