Hamas keeps weapons in the mosques they regularly pray at with zero moral issues, why would they give a shit about storing weapons in a Christian church building? You got angry that the ancient church was destroyed and now that I showed it's not destroyed, you want to transfer your anger onto something else.

I gotta be honest, using proxies to do your dirty work can be quite effective at times, Iran has become quite good at it in the Middle East. They may have Hezbollah in Lebanon but Hamas despite being Sunni fundamentalist in nature tends to be a useful proxy for them. An electronic proxy in the form of a popular social media app is much more useful, but I don't think the Middle East has that much technical skill or soft power to pull off what China has.

It's not uncommon for Hamas and other related groups to store weapons and equipment in areas with high civilian populations though, so it's still possible.

This. Israel was ostensibly the best thing to happen to the Jewish people. It allowed for an ethnic group with quite a bit of brain power and industry a place of their own where they could perhaps purge themselves of all the various parasitic and unhealthy social traits they accrued in the diaspora. That said, they've always tried to have it both ways, by taking the money and influence of the rich seculars abroad they personally disdain, even as those seculars continued to destabilize and undermine the societies they lived in, as well as exporting their own issues with Muslims to the rest of the Western world, both in ideology and in the actual people themselves.
