Shmorky's a professional victim. Her being utter batshit allowed him to post shit on Twitter to get asspats and sympathy, or go to the police and look like the victim. I also think there's an element of control to it. Her being even more batshit than him (at least in public) gives him some level of power and control over her.

Sort of. Didn't Shmorky meet her fairly recently (within the last few years). I don't doubt that some of what she said had some truth to it, but we've got to remember that at best she is a bitter ex with an axe to grind and a massive attention whore (I mean, look at all the fucking comments saying she'd kill herself if she had the confidence, I don't doubt she'd bullshit stories just for attention) who's posting to a website which dislikes anything to do with SA (which means she's even more likely to embellish negative shit for attention), and at worst she's a skitzocow who literally believes in witches and the Jewluminati. I think we should take everything she says with a massive pinch of salt, even if it is fun to read.

Because I got tired of the drama, the death threats, the calls to my kids schools lying about shit, the harassment of my parents, the hate campaigns against me, the doxing, all that shit. I think SA was at its best when I enjoyed doing what i did, mostly writing, but you burn out after a nearly a decade of bitter psychos dedicating their lives to making your life miserable. So I started distancing myself from any public decisions, particularly moderation wise, because any time I did anything, I was greeted by a bunch of people shouting that I fucked shit up and the site isn't funny anymore and I was never funny and I don't know how to do anything.

So I thought "okay, if that's the feeling here, I'll just step away from it and see if things improve, since I obviously don't know dick about shit." And there you go.

Honestly I'm surprised you couldn't figure this out. I loved writing and I loved the community, but it's not emotionally healthy to try and stay involved when all the feedback you receive is either non existent or overly negative. Fuck it dude, let's go bowling.

Absolutely not, swear to god. One morning he just made a post in the mods forum saying something along the lines of "there's some bad personal shit that happened in my life and it's best that I leave here." None of us had any fucking clue what he was going on about until all that shit about him was exposed.

I know the "mods knew" thing is essentially a meme at this point, but honestly, we didn't. I mean, the kiddie fucker ran a sub forum about TV shows or something. I don't think that job is so important to us that we'd willingly and knowingly overlook the shit that he did because, by God, he was the greatest and most important mod of the most crucial forum ever.
