I think he might just be a giant push-over, and Balldoman can kind of sense this and tries to take advantage of it. Possibly when he does this to his kids, they just start crying and apologizing, so he thinks it's a good way to get Sean on his side.

It's possible he's a push-over. But, from Sean's perspective he didn't go into this stream expecting a fight and was probably confused when Nick started sperging at him incessantly. He's probably trying to figure out how he wants to respond.
