On another note, I was running a grep on the 2023 Twitter scraping, hoping to find some new leads (previously unknown emails/accounts, etc), but haven't had anything noteworthy turn up. I'm assuming people have already gone down this rabbit hole though.

If there's any other emails/accounts you guys want me to check against the data, I'll see what I can find.

Ya know, I think it's been a while since people have looked into debunking Byuu's death. I really think it can be done. But no one has really tried recently.

And disproving their death would be objectively a huge win for the forum.

Think outside of the box a bit. His death was supposed to be the final trick to destroy the forum. It didn't work. Though he can live his dream of living in Japan/Tokyo without anyone finding him, he might get bored with a country that doesn't speak your language.

But you have to put yourself into the mind of the autist: especially one that was fixated on emulation. I am going to take a guess and give you some ideas:
* He moved onto a pseudonym and is actively working on a different emulator contributing in some form. If theres any style of coding/comments you could glance at and cross-reference, go for that. He probably moved beyond emulation?
* He is into diaperfur stuff right? Maybe he lives as another name, unfortunately this creates a hay in a haystack issue and I doubt if he dove head first into degeneracy he would ever come back to the Byuu name.
* Probably still keeps in touch with friends through an alt. It would have to be the best kept secret based on loyalty, I feel if you piss off someone enough they will just squeal.
* Returning to the scene of the crime: I think if you fake your death to your friends/people you would want to tease/reveal yourself or join conversation about your death.
* Grasping for straws here: If I was in Japan, I would open an eBay store for easy-to-get retro gaming flipping; albeit this is just a stretch and wouldn't really confirm anything.

Anyhoo, this is basically a rumor but a friend from Ohio claims that he learned about Byuu recently due to a normie who visited the shop he works showing a collection of retro video games, furry crap, shotacon postcards, and childrens clothes that he acquired from a storage auction that he won. He alledges that he learned it was Byuu because the normie googled some written down names from the storage unit. Sadly this will be fake and gay as he is and was too autistic to track down this guy and offer to buy the weird pedoish stuff to take proof of this stuff before it went into the trash. I will bug him if he took any pictures of the stuff that was shown, but it wouldn't have any proof of it connected to byuu as all he knew at the time was that he was a prominant troon from the storage unit buyer's googling.

I guess thread ban my account for baiting, as I provided nothing of substance besides alledging that a credit card that byuu or his gay boyfriend owned, expired a few months ago.

The other possibility for Byuu's fate is that he actually committed suicide, albeit a few days before the google doc went up. He gave his twitter password to a friend, and they concocted the story to try and take down kiwifarms.

And I just cannot see how the Department of State can "forget" to tally a foreigner death.

Which makes sense, as there were also 4 female deaths not on the Department of State list. Because surely they wouldn't fail to report 6 deaths, unless they didn't meet the reporting criteria.

It's actual official Japanese data, just in a spreadsheet. But it doesn't prove that Byuu died because he is comparing apples to oranges (all deaths in Japanese data vs. deaths from non-natural causes as the US Department of State reports). Also, see here.
