Frankly that’s not true. Everyone’s entitled to their view but, to me, your post rings disingenuous coming from an account created purely to post in this thread.

George brought in pedophiles as a problem. He alluded to the fact that non-offending pedos exist, and both agreed that they haven’t done anything wrong. The next episode (episode 31) they brought in a letter from an actual pedo who thanks both of them for their understanding and complains about how mandatory reporting is wrong and drives people who need support underground. George says he had mixed feelings on it and Dax immediately came out strongly against mandatory reporting, calling it a ‘thought crime’.

In fact, at no point did Dax ever disagree with George on any ‘soft’ opinion relating to pedophiles or child porn. He never really came down against pedos, he only expressed concern that discussing it could be off putting to the audience.
