They're going through a long, slow process, and it looks like the judge has decided that Monty's suit is not frivolous. During the process, Rekieta's paying top dollar to Randazza to cover his ass as much as possible. It's safe to say that whatever is happening legally, the Lawcow has been pretty well speared.

Nick’s game plan is becoming homeless over statements literally no one cares about, his lawyers game plan is making only the worst possible choices at any given time to drain Nick of money and come in clutch during the trial (even though he likely could have won on his motion to dismiss if he chose arguments that had literally any chance of working), Steve’s plan is ree at the court about the defendant running an intercountry crime syndicate with sole purpose of hanging niggers (and admit to plans of wasting everyone’s time with discovery), and his lawyers plan is to admit that no damage was done, but they’ll totally figure out how much Steve was hurt as soon as they get a peek at Nick’s bank account

Slight amendment. Monty’s lawyer was really good on the current appeal arguments. Granted, I don’t think it matters as I believe the Appellate Court will find that the District Court should have applied the anti-SLAPP after all, and the District Court will then proceed to dismiss Nick’s motion anyway, because Defamation is not protected under the 1st.
Earlier in this thread with the reference to 40,000 dollars (and Nick's paid way more since) and Randazza commenting how Nick is an interesting client to have or whatever due to how often he's talked about this on stream.
