It's terrifying and disgusting. I'm fortunate because I don't see many troons where I live, but just seeing them online and being reminded that this is how some men see women, even if we are competent, intelligent, multidimensional human beings, is enraging.
I suspect the reason women don't talk about it is that they're afraid of what these men will do if confronted. Also, third wave feminism has brainwashed an entire generation into thinking that true empowerment means being a sex object, so perhaps some women are just used to thinking that way.

Actually, one of the nice things about being middle-aged is that everyone ignores us. We're someone's mom or grandma, and only young skinny moms are sexy.
You might get a cat call at night when the men can't see much more than you're female, but during the day everyone just walks past you. You're part of the background scenary.
Tbf, this is my experience in a small town. But even when I'm in the city I have noticed this. I suppose if a middle-aged woman walked directly past a construction site they might get cat called, I couldn't say.

I guess the orange/jaundice base is to disguise 5 o'clock shadow, but then you are supposed to even it out.
As someone with deep set eyes, I know you want to make your eyes come out more, not look even more recessed with dark makeup.

Though I'd argue "queer" is just as meaningless, it seems to be a way to express your agreement with current year ideology without committing to any label (blue hair and septum piercing optional).
