My step-dad likes westerns so my mom bought him that series for Christmas (spolier alert its shit. they wont watch again) but the TLDR on that is the "tranny" was a was a black slave boy john brown "liberated" from slavery who had some sort of androgynous or something and John Brown just made him wear women's clothes. at the end of the series the boy goes and visits brown before his execution and asks him why he made him dress up like a girl (because he wasn't a tranny) and brown basically gives him a modern tranny/gay everything is all right and everything goes speech (despite him being a devout christian . . .). at one point Brown waxes poetically about the good times they had and the boy basically says he is full of shit because they were starving and eating bugs to live.

From what little i watched of it they did not portray John Brown in a good light at all, and steered toward the more historically correct interpretation of a deranged literal schizo serial killer and terrorist.

the above is assuming we watched the same series.

He also thought he was Jesus and freeing the slaves would cause the second coming of Christ while ignoring the people who he did brutalize with a sword in Kansas didn’t have any slaves and his whole slave revolt just resulted in him killing a black guy.

It seems very indicative of the modern left troons who invoke John Brown that they will be equally incompetent and needlessly inflame tensions.

Nobody from InRange (neither Karl nor Russ nor any of their usual guests) attended, and Administrative Results is also listed there so... I have no idea what's going on. Maybe they're just keeping the InRange association to keep Karl from sperging about copyright or whatever?

You know I think Karl has finally taken some lessons on board. He's consistently posting decent videos, including getting 1.2million views on his repro Hand Mortar video, where he concentrated on the manual of Arms and realised that the most interesting aspect for the Audience would be that it's designed to fire a lit hand grenade.

A lot of his other historical content is pretty decent, Atun Shei might have given him a few tips. Even the Annette Evans videos are watchable as she's not a drug addled larping troon. .
