Korea's a bit easier to subvert due to the fact that it's smaller and the domestic media market isn't big enough to be sustainable on its own. So the Korean music and media industries are kind of beholden to whichever of China and/or the Western world are buying their products. I posted this in the KPop thread that we can see the woke subversion most clearly there- Americans in the early 2010s started listening to Korean music because they were tired of American music being the same old stuff. So big Western media companies got their hands in the Korean music industry, and a decade later, Korean music is the same goyslop that American music is.
Japan, in contrast, has a big enough domestic market that it's been able to resist foreign influence for quite a while. Foreign media companies are certainly trying to do the same thing to anime that they did to K-pop- just look at how many series that Netflix or Crunchyroll have co-produced- but I haven't really noticed any blatant wokeism infecting the actual source material itself, apart from the localizer fuckery that's already been covered in this thread. Netflix has actually done a remarkably better job than I expected at producing stuff that Japanese people actually want to watch and keeping its hands out of the adaptation. Crunchyroll, on the other hand- not so much. I'm sick of the 10th Korean webtoon adaptation in a row, as if that's anything that Japanese studios would ever make of their own free will.
In a way, Japanese culture is pretty antithetical to wokeism on its own. They are already remarkably tolerant of all sorts of deviancy just so long as one doesn't make a fool out of himself in public, or draw attention to himself in any way. Considering that's the basis of wokeism...yeah, not a surprise to see that it still hasn't gotten very far in Japan despite years of globalist interests trying to push it.
It's not like Japanese people haven't already had a front row seat to the chaos that "multiculturalism" has caused in Europe and the USA, and it's not like there hasn't been years of media showing Japan becoming a Brazil-tier slum as soon as it opens its borders...what a stupid take. I'd expect nothing less from a (((white))) woman.

Real Africans can't reach here unless they're very lucky so that ain't problem.
American ones (or Americans in general) are mostly English teacher or Military workers and their families.
