This kinda should exclude byuu, but why US stats doesn't have 7 "Accident" cases from JP stats, or 1 "transport accident"?

I assume US counts it as a "natural cause" given that other data lines up. Additionally, that could have been military personnel, and so it got reported to the DoD instead of State Department, and that's why it doesn't appear on the list.

Four suicides on each site, I'm not seeing a relevant discrepancy. The US site is the reliable one for non-military US citizens, as even Hector enthusiastically declared in the early days of the hoax.

The possible reasons for the accident number raised last year - different definitions of natural, exclusion of military, and difference between "national" and "citizen" - all still count. The owners of the data sets might be helpful if asked the right questions.

Only a total gimp would expect a match between the two datasets chosen to "prove" the suicide wasn't a hoax.
