Funny thing is he's in a Slightly better situation then he was pre barbgate. I think this is because the social zeitegiest has moved. Classic Chris was in some ways a 2020s-era terminally online autist. The very particular way he got angry, carried himself and his voice, how he responded to trolls. It's behavior you'd see deep in a place like fandom tiktok, not in the exact content but the delivery and reactions. He was totally batshit in the 90s-early 2010s but as we've begrudgingly accepted more freaks as normal he seemed less and less of an outlier as time went on. Still a massive one, but no longer the only one. You can dig up trannies and fandom kiddies having the exact same kind of on-camera meltdowns and back and forths with trolls and haydurz as classic Chris did right now, and they have echo chambers of more of the same cheering them on. Modern Chris isn't fun because he's just another freak on the internet now
Plus he's just mellowed out a little with age. He's not all that scream-y and sometimes in your face violent anymore
