Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

Teleporting between bases has given me a lot to think about, mainly how dumb building on top of resources has ultlimately turned out to be. Has anyone tried putting bases right next to each other on a huge plateau or something? Is that even doable or will the new Palbox says "you're too close"?

I've not thought of that. One thing I have noticed is that there seems to be certain build locations that are intended. I found a huge open, flat area by a beach where my main base is, and I've found a few others in the open world. I do hope they add a real way to farm ore, coal, and maybe quantz, though the latter doesn't seem to be needed in high quantities yet.

Here is a video of someone doing just that to make a town. You just have to space them enough so the circles don't overlap, so you'll need to turn building degradation off.

Reposting from earlier: Found a great area for a mining base at 190, -35 just east of the Vaelet boss spawn on top of a mesa. Lots of ore and coal nodes and very difficult for raiders to access.

Down to one boss, the one in the snowy region. I didn't even get it down to half health before running out of time. Other than that I'd like to collect all of the journals, but I'm pretty much done with the game. I'm excited to hear how it turns out in the end, but I've got a habit of never coming back to games I beat in EA.
 
I have the Jet dragon, two unknowns, the desert tower and the snow tower left. Close to lvl 48. Probably need to grind ammo for my guns, maybe see if I can find the legendary schematics for them.
 
Does anyone have recommendations for an RCON client? It needs to support automation of commands and auto reconnect as I want to use it for server announcements and handling restarts. Currently using WindowsGSM to run my Palworld server and while it does support automatic restarts there’s no way to send things to chat.

Once I started farming bosses I just started buying ammo. After running a full circuit I usually have 80-120k in cash (I do catch and butcher to get double drops) and buy nearly 1000 ammo.

I haven't attempted any of the legendaries yet. It's a slow boil. I'm at level 48, found a green rocket launcher blueprint the other day. A while ago tried tickling the frost boss with a blue shotgun (before I found the legendary) and backed off when it sneezed twice and ripped my shield apart and took half my hp. I'll level Lovander to 50, get 4x 4* Cremises, and then go for the remaining towers and legos. Thus far she's been able to solo basically anything. I hear the last tower has a dark type, so it might be a bit of a bitch to fight, will have to be careful with sphere recalls to avoid damage.
I'm also getting a serious itch to make a new world, this time with difficulty upped considerably (not like skyrim with 0.2 damage dealt and 5x damage taken) since I know most of the ins and outs now.

Tbh I caught my fist legendary by running in sneaky and orbing them, waiting to see if they got caught and if they didn't I ran away so they despawned and repeated until victory. Spent quite a few legendary orbs that way, but it worked.

Well, I found this - https://haruhost.com/ which seems to do what I want but with no GitHub it is giving those mediafire Minecraft mod vibes.

Fun server, though I imagine most of the time I get on it'll just be me, since I have to keep vampire hours due to my job. Hopefully I can run into y'all on my days off. I just hit like 17 or so and got a nice little base going in one of the less commonly used starting areas and already caught a lucky Lamball and an alpha Gumoos.
