Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Don't say that too loudly or the government might seize the funds and start sending kiwis to fight in penal battalions with all that money

On the upside twitter would blow a gasket trying to rationalize supporting the side using kiwi troops and kiwi funding, especially the troons. Imagine them trying to celebrate kiwi troops taking some major russian position and killing a bunch of russians
Trouble is that the majority of kiwis know how to call Volga.

Article (Bloomberg seems to somehow block all archival tools I tried so no archive)
The European Union should work on a plan to issue €100 billion ($107.8 billion) in eurobonds to boost the continent’s defense industry, and in the meantime do more to get weapons to Ukraine, Estonia’s prime minister said.
Chihuahua nation is advocating yet again for other EU nations to pay more.

Oh
HA HA! Eat shit Bulgaria!

I think...

I dunno, is Bulgaria one of the based eastern euro counties, or one of the cucked ones?

If it's the former, maybe we can raise money for them in exchange for a non-revocable .bg domain. Could come in handy.

Too late!

They’re already here!

There’s a bike so Copenhagen checks out.
Well, shit. Now the American soldiers getting imported makes sense! Come here, boys. Rape our women, murder our teenagers. We won't prosecute you for it!

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Bulgaria one of the more shittier EU countries with a higher grade of corruption? How interesting that they are playing martyrs in "an act of solidarity"

Wonder where that money even came from.

Looks like Industriens Hus, which is indeed in Copenhagen.
You'd be right. It is that place. I guess they wanted a light show on its walls.

When do you plan to buy more, honey?
After she axes more holidays and budget cuts our healthcare/education systems even more.

Sure, the eldercare may be in dire straights, the hospitals may be horribly underfunded and understaffed and more schools have to close and psych wards have to drop suicidal people due to lack of funds to care for them but Zelensky needs more weapons, dammit!

Hi, my name is Dr. Totally Legit who graduated from Harvard.

We are doing a rorshark test today.

What do you see in this image?

I see a fight that has to be this way since violence only breeds violence, unfortunately for Carson he doesn't stand a chance against Senator Putin, he used to do Kung Fu ya know?
Damn, Bulgaria sending over 1/10 of their GDP is pretty brave ngl.

Get ready for a “report” from hohol intelligence one of these days, how the border crisis is manufactured by Russia, and it’s really FSB smuggling in all those migrants.

The ex-spokestranny for Ukraine was already reporting that sort of thing a few months ago. He did a whole tour of mexico and central america talking about how the fight for the US border and fighting Russia in Ukraine was the same thing.

Your decadent lifestyle has been propped up by american military spending for many decades, you will now have to make the same choices as everyone else

Oh, did I miss something? If the location of the picture is already known, why is it being discussed?

For a european country the choice is very clear, massively cut military spending. You only need enough to keep institutional knowledge in case rebuilding the army is eventually necessary, but that can be achieved with as little as a few guards divisions who do little more than parades, practice, and token participation in UN interventions.
No EU country faces the threat of invasion, short of metaphorical ones like refugees, and in that case the money is better spent equipping the coast guard with boats (that can intercept the refugee boats and safely ferry them back to their port of origin) than on having an army.

Oh no, it's just shit posting. I did confirm that it was Industriens Hus.

Which makes Finland's hysteria and push to join NATO extremely funny.

Armed Forces of Ukraine claim they lost 2860 men in Avdiivka to Zaporizhzhia in this year, and that they caused Russians 20018 losses in men.

Weirdly they forgot to count the two days that Avdiivka received the most losses, the 16th and the 17th. I’m sure it’s just an honest mistake

The only way it would be equivalent is if Mexico has superior civil services and protections and so the border states voted to join Mexico.

They do have the excuse of some contested territory, but all of that is firmly Russian already. If anything they've just painted a target on themselves. The territory was taken in the first place because Leningrad was exposed with a foreign border so close, but once a comfortable buffer was established, that was the end of that. Nobody's going to invade Finland to get some more forest when most of Russia is already forest. Being home to yank garrisons though makes them a legitimate threat.

Well we are poor

Can't happen. You need to have a registered company in Bulgaria with a Bulgarian board member at the very least or be a citizen.

If by shittier, you mean lower income - then yes.
This whole package is basically a way to please the local Russophiles (my best guess)

What they are talking about is the entire front line from just south of the Bakhmut area all the way to Dnipro River. Perhaps half of the entire active front.
They are claiming 444 Russian KIAs per day while the average loss of Ukrainian soldiers was only 63 per day Not in any way close to realistic numbers.

The Russians won at Adviivka by fighting smart and avoiding massive bloody frontal assault on the city fortifications. The two key incidents in the taking of the city were:

1) The incident east of the city where they did a classical mining operation under the Ukrainian fortications and then blew them up. It was very similar to the British attack on Messines Ridge in 1916 during the first world war.

2) The infiltration through the water tunnel behind the Ukrainian fortifications into the city.

Contrary to the propaganda, the fight the city was a chess game rather than a meat assault or human wave attacks. It was a modern version of the sort of campaign that was waged in the middle ages against castles.

There were obvious losses in the course of the fighting for the city, But it was never quite the slaughterhouse the Ukrainians expected or that they are trying to will into existing after the fact.
