Improvements
- Characters will no longer carry pepper spray in any “Yakuza Mode” mission when the player is playing 1980s Mode Mission Mode. (This is because, in a mode where the player is allowed to run away from enemies, the player should not be forced into an automatic game over as soon as the chase ends.)
- Horuda, Otohiko, and Hazu are more introverted than most other characters, so they now perform the “shy wave” animation instead of the exuberant and energetic wave animation performed by most other characters.
- The Newspaper Club did not eat lunch at lunchtime in Mission Mode, which made it impossible to complete a mission that involved poisoning their food. From now on, they will eat at lunchtime in Mission Mode.
- The sci-fi energy weapon in the Death Demon easter egg now makes sci-fi sound effects instead of “metal blade” sound effects.
Fixes
- When the player tries to talk to a student who is busy and unavailable to speak, the student randomly chooses a line of dialogue from 5 options. One of those lines of dialogue implied that the student was busy specifically because they were in class, which didn’t apply to most situations, so that line of dialogue has been re-written to be more generic so that all of the randomly-chosen lines of dialogue can apply to any situation.
- One of the game’s characters – the president of the Art Club, Geiju Tsuka – has a unique trait: he speaks exclusively in two-word sentences. However, when the player spoke with him using the new social interaction system, he was speaking normally, with full sentences. This oversight has been corrected; Geiju now responds to the player with two-word replies, like he’s supposed to.
- If a mind-broken slave is sent to kill a target, they won’t perform the killing animation if they or their target is on a staircase, since the animation would clip through the stairs. However, there was one staircase in the game that this did not apply to. This oversight has been corrected.
- In the cutscene at the end of the Alternate Timeline (or the Game Over for the Alternate Timeline), the button prompt that appeared at the bottom-right corner of the screen did not accurately reflect the input device that the player was playing the game with. This has been fixed.
- If the player was using the “Chat Interaction” feature and someone typed the !oops command, the command would not function as intended. Instead of dropping the currently-equipped weapon, the protagonist would simply store it away in their inventory. This bug has been fixed.
- In Custom Mode, if the player attempted to give a character a “Custom Hangout” on the school gym stage, the character would never be able to pathfind to their destination, and would spin in circles indefinitely. This bug has been fixed.
- Because the button for dumping water was changed (it became the “Q” key instead of the “E” key) some of the text in Kokona’s tutorial became outdated. This text has been updated to accurately describe the new water-dumping controls.
- In Custom Mode, if the player created a male student with a Strength of “Invincible” and then sent a mind-broken slave to go attack that student, the male student’s face/body would deform. This bug has been fixed.
- Certain characters who were supposed to be performing a “leaning up against wall” animation were failing to come into contact with the wall they were leaning against. This mistake has been corrected.
- If the player was using the “Chat Interaction” feature and someone typed the !cloak command, the protagonist would freeze in place and become unable to move. This bug has been fixed.
- Kyuji was intended to spy on Osana both before and after Cleaning Time. However, due to an oversight, he was only spying on her before Cleaning Time. This oversight has been fixed.
- If the player activated “low poly students” and then entered SNAP Mode, none of the low poly students would revert back to normal students when approached. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player attacked Osana while she was reporting a corpse to Taro, Taro would not react to Osana’s death and would freeze in place permanently. This bug has been fixed.
- In Custom Mode, if the player assigned the “Miyuki” destination to a student, that student would become unable to properly execute their routine. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player created a female Senpai and then entered SNAP Mode and attempted to kill their Senpai, she would not play the correct animation. This bug has been fixed.
- Certain objects in the school plaza were not recognized as pathfinding obstacles, which could cause characters to get stuck walking into them. This bug has been fixed.
- When viewing a student’s profile inside of the protagonist’s home, the game was failing to populate the list of a student’s likes/dislikes. This bug has been fixed.
- Under rare circumstances, the game could get frozen on a white screen when fading in/out of the “studying in class” screen. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player used the “Fire Student Council” feature, the fired student council member would still possess pepper spray. This bug has been fixed.
- Some of the benches on the rooftop were clipping into the planters that were added to the rooftop recently. This oversight has been corrected.
- When playing the dance machine minigame, one of the map’s room labels was visible on screen. This bug has been fixed.
- When Ryoba was in town in the daytime, her bust size was inaccurate. This oversight has been corrected.
- In the Kokona tutorial, the 3D model for the spool of thread was invisible. This bug has been fixed.
