I'm sure this had nothing to do with ContraPoints declaring the intention of making a video on Keffals and then uploading a totally different video about Twilight in the mean time which gained over 1.2 million views in 2 days, on a Youtube account that hadn't uploaded a single video in 10 months. I'm sure this has nothing to do with wanting to avoid the pending Contra video.
On a side note, Keffals claiming this is causing a hit to the old bank balance is a bit rich, I'm sure the subscriptions have tapered off a bit but Patreon wise Keffals is actually now earning more money than before the content switch thanks to the CBR paywall and the Scared Awake Patreon.
Keffals patreon used to have roughly $1488 a month income (I remember because I made a joke about it).
Currently between the 3 Patreons Keffals has $1565 coming in.
Also a lot of the subscriptions were auto renew so I wouldn't be surprised if not that many had dropped off.

During the beginning of the Vaush defense saga I stated that keffals would love the attention regardless of if it was positive or negative, but I am doubting that now. It was the straw that broke the camel's back, and now people are getting a little too invested in his past. Now he is shutting down a lot of his stuff and going to only his horror channel thing biweekly from what I understand? I bet he just wants to try to wait this all out hoping it will blow over after a while, just like a lot of other things.
