Forgot to say: the abuser was her father, he's totally out of the picture now.
I think she connected with Gypsy's revenge story of a young child horribly abused by a caretaker . She mentions her mother from time to time but I never got the impression she had anything to do with the munching, I suspect it's all Rose.
She's more clever than what she makes herself look like. She's not as forthcoming with the medical information as the no-filter munchies are. A few times in the past she went private after being mentioned either here or on Reddit... She's more adept at managig her lies than your average Florida girl.
Wow that's awful, glad he is not in her life anymore... I think you are probably also right about why she likes Gypsy Rose too.
I wonder sometimes how things like this happen. Plenty of people suffer horrific child abuse, of course that causes all sorts of long term psychological issues, but not very many child abuse survivors grow up to be extreme munchies with a diaper baby fetish. What went wrong in Rose's life and brain that she ended up so... crazy?
The mitochondrial disorder is news to me. Mito is genetic, so unless she had genetic testing showing a mutation, Rose is just completely lying and this never happened so eventually she dropped the lie OR she was diagnosed based on symptoms by some quack and later realized it was bullshit.
It's interesting that she says it will eventually kill her. She says the same thing about stiff person syndrome. No matter her diagnosis, Rose is really fixated on it being terminal. I remember her saying at one point that she had a suicide attempt (it might have been said in her SBSK interview video) and that now after going through that she wants to live... if she wants to live then why is she so obsessed with posting about how she's dying?
Personally my theory is that Rose is still suicidal, she still wants to die but she doesn't want to kill herself. If it's her disease that kills her instead, then that's way better option. Terminal illness generates much more sympathy than suicide. Plus, death from terminal illness is inevitable, nobody can stop her from dying from that. But if Rose admits she's suicidal, there's going to be an expectation for her to get mental health treatment and eventually stop feeling that way. It's really fucked up but not uncommon for people who have been mentally ill for a very long time to feel some resistance towards attempting recovery. It can be terrifying to think about "What if someday I feel better? What if someday I don't want to kill myself anymore?" Plus if you don't want to live anymore in the first place, why would you waste time trying to get better and create a life worth living? Of course it sounds crazy that people could think that since it's totally illogical, but mental illness does not make sense, it's a disease.
Also I looked at that tinkiebinkie231 account. It's still public. The post you screenshotted was from 2020. Rose says she was 26 in 2020... but on her regular account rosethrives she says in her bio she is 24... So in the past 4 years she has aged -2 years? The lies just never end!
