It is his own fault, that doesn't preclude someone from being deserving of sympathy. I agree the reply of the comic and plushie sale was the right move and just waiting it out would've been smart. Also, reports are anonymous, I'm sure a big account like his has more weight swinging his dick around the report button.

Even the tone of that comic just seemed like he was tryharding to ape how Metokur dealt with his doxxing but failed. Hard to explain but it's a little TOO cynical while being too vague, but his follow up post definitely confirms it.

I wouldn't quite say it's his own fault. When someone does something shitty, with shitty motives, it is the fault of the person who did that thing. Like if I go out of my way to dox someone, that's on me. That's something I DID. Maybe they deserved it. Maybe they fucked up. It's never really your fault when someone does something TO you.
