Hm, I can see how this lays groundwork, but it doesn't seem to interface with the "you don't need dysphoria to be trans" crowd and people wanting meds/surgery just because they want them.

If I were running a health insurance company, I'd have a list of requirements someone must fulfill/have their doctor say they fulfill to get trans treatment, same as any other condition. Insurance can make prospective bariatric surgery patients document medical dieting for a year; copy-paste that for hormones, my dudes.

We are living in the stupid future.

Insurance companies are required to pay out a certain percentage of premiums, so they want higher healthcare spending but in line with their models. More troons = more spending and more spending = more profits. Only way to increase total profits is to increase total revenues which can only be done through a corresponding increase in cost.

It’s a great way to increase costs because the people she butchers will need care the rest of their life to deal with the effects. I don’t think there’s a single SRS doctor out there who isn’t a butcher, they’re just varying degrees of it. I don’t understand how we’ve come this far as a society and we’re thinking it’s civilized to indulge the delusions of troons, give them hormones that aren’t natural to them, cut their dicks off, and say they’re a woman now.

There’s some serious abuse going on. I wonder if his parents have been doing his dilation for him. That’s definitely the worst one I’ve seen so far. It’s a good job they do so much nerve damage becasue that would be intolerable otherwise
