Linus Gabriel Sebastian & Linus Media Group / Linus Tech Tips - Narcissistic corporate shill YouTuber driving his media empire into the ground. KILL COUNT: 2

There are the margins to recoup the cost of production and distribution and then there are margins to turn a profit. The former can get really high with this scale of operation.
Or Null's silver run. Silver coins/rounds at the time was well under $30, and Null had to sell at around $40 per unit to make up for getting the press cast, the bulk silver, and everything else. Sure it costed more than your basic stuff, but you got a unique piece of very limited quantity.

The reason Linus wasn't in town last week was because he went to california for MattPatt's retirement party, so he probably sucked MovieBlob's dick there and gave him Tranthony's contact info. He also did some collaborations with astroturfed faggot Ludwig on his channel and did his podcast The Yard, which I've never heard of but Linus acts like it's the Joe Rogan Experience 2.0.

More upgrades done to Plouffe's civic from last time, including a bad paint job from the expert painter. I liked the last video, but this one feels forced and more like having a friend who says they know cars try and fix things but will end up making things worse.

Another livestream dice roll build, rather boring as it's too rigged for LTT store discounts. At 28:45 there was talk that went to Linus talking about LTX being on hiatus because it wasn't financially viable right now, but that also he might be running into roadblocks for hosting gaming events at his badminton center due to the local Surry government in Vancouver. It sounds like he's saying it's not a problem yet, but that he will activate his tranny tech brigade of followers to deluge the local government to allow gaming events if they start opposing his plans for the facility.

Canada isn't Bongistan. You don't need a permit to run some pipes.
This is the Vancouver region, you unironically need a permit to do just about anything to any place that isn't a single family detached home - and even then, you're only allowed to do certain works, replacing a sink is ok, installing a new one needs permits. He might be able to try and rules lawyer it as to whether it qualifies as a fixture or renovation vs a 'set build' for media production, but they're anal as fuck about it and he'd be stuck with the bill to even argue the case with the city. The fact that the works not being performed on an actual set or sound stage would probably lose him that argument.

And yes it is completely fucking retarded. Vancouver is a wellspring of the worst ideas known to man.

Good thing i'm not a bong. I know USA codes and canada can't be that different. I know insurance wouldn't like you pulling an extension cord through a wall, and they wouldn't like all this water and electricity being rigged together. I wonder what would happen if someone informed some canadian housing official and showed them all his house videos.

Soon as they sponsor him he'll swap. But I feel he already overspends to make these shitty videos.
It would only cost 1k USD a day to rent an ARRI Alexa Mini LF which is a camera used on major Hollywood movies compared to the 10k prosumer cameras that LMG uses. But youtubers always have a hard-on for camera ownership for some reason, makes them look like big boy "real businesses"

It's YouTube not Hollywood. You can film on an iPhone like Dankpods and nobody will care so long as the content is good.

Why even bother with a camera of that magnitude? Maybe my mindset is stuck in the previous decade, but there isn't anything they're doing that they can't just make with a DSLR.
