It's been almost three months, so I guess someone oughta make a spergtastic semi-analysis to all of that trite shit, and that'll be me.
Arzette is on the same tier as Crazy Bus on the Genesis/Mega Drive, insofar that Arzette is (at most) a glorified tech demo. Whereas Crazy Bus was an attempt by Venezuelan blokes to see if they could code for shit (and for better or for worse, they succeeded), Arzette is an attempt from the liquidous, genderless meatbags that make up the 'YTP community' circlejerk to see if they could create anything worthwhile for once, and the short answer is no.
The graphics, for instance, do not fit in any way with the dull, copypasted 'gameplay' from CDi Zelda. For as low-effort as the game is, it's pretty apparent that different teams were responsible for different parts of Arzette; it seems Limited Run Games just couldn't be bothered to rein over Dopply and his mafia of kiddy-touchy CWC clones. As for the storyline, it's obviously tailored exclusively for anti-social, low IQ dwellers of the YouChew ecosystem: The titular main character is a DEI token "strong independent woman" stereotype. Her friend (who is a sit-in for Link) is a cowardly emasculated male. As a matter of a fact, every male seems to be emasculated in that game; those are probably sit-ins for the regular faggots on the Seedy Eye Software discord server (I might get to doing a separate post on that place soon-ish).
In the end, Arzette refuses to become a queen and wants to create a "Democracy," which as far as the creatures behind the game are concerned, is presumably going to be focused solely on maxxing out on trannies and especially child trannies. It's just amazing that whoever came up with the story didn't even care to provide subtlety to the shitlib power fantasy, but even that would require an ounce of creativity and cognition on the YouChew/Seedy Eye side, and they've all but confirmed they never had those things and never will.
Hell, a lot of users on Steam wondered why Arzette looked so bad with regards to everything, especially the artstyle, and they're not wrong in thinking that; whoever is leading Seedy Eye Software apparently doesn't seem to comprehend or care that not many people nowadays will get behind or understand the Meta-Irony of CDi Zelda. There's no reason why the game could've employed an actual art direction, actual animation, or even an actual ambition, but I guess the project's sole purpose is to validate Dopply's monomaniacal fetish for the CDi Nintendo games, and it's not a stretch to say that, seeing as how he always based his repulsive "personality" on that garbage, and he's the quintessential manchild through and through.
Speaking of the YouChew ecosystem, there were also more than a fair share of trannoids from the likes of YTPMania, Pinchbacks etc who were mindlessly parroting that Arzette was "going to spark a whole new generation of YTPs," which makes zero sense, and which evidently did not happen anyway, seeing as how all and any fanfare the product had died roughly a month after release. The only thing that happened was some streamers played it, went "cool haha funny cd-i memes" and then nothing. I suppose the aforementioned 'new generation of ytps' zoomers were regurgitating that shit to get in the good graces of their YouChew daddies by any means possible, so each of them could have their own DillRod and Bya esque relationships. Everything with that cult is centered around post-modernism and prolapsed anuses, so it's only makes sense.
Even with all of that sperging, and regardless of my personal feelings, I did wish that Arzette was moderately succesful, both in execution and reception. I don't think anyone would've had a problem with the YouChew/Seedy Eye death cult, however unlikable and psychopathic they are, trying to deliver (what could've been) an entertaining piece of software. Alas, it would appear that lot would rather much rot for eternity in their own abyss of infantilization, ineptitude and paederasty.

Ironically, the Hotel Mario prototype leaking online did more for YTP than Arzette ever did.

Hotel Mario is a better game than Arzette.
In fact, so are the three Zelda games.
And that's not even a hot take either. Faces of Evil and Wands of Gamelon weren't great games, let alone great Zelda games, but at least the gameplay for both were very neat and even the cutscenes are still way more memorable for being campy. Arzette is just nothing. Arzette is complete disposable entertainment, as is the case with many other things in today's society

In regards to Arzette "spawning new age of YTPs" thing I decided to look through all the YTPs made of that game and these are my current conclusions:
Most popular YTPs you'll find of Arzette at the moment are videos pooping the trailer, not the game itself. The videos that came out after the game got released have way less views and generally are of way lower quality as well. Decided to check the channels and they are either relatively recent or don't have YTP as a focus. Not only that, but for as much as I've been in various YTP communities, I do not recognize any of the people that are making these. So... I guess there is a grain of truth, some people did actually decide to try making a YTP after Arzette came out, But it's simultaneously MUCH lower than Arzette fans made it out to be and MUCH higher than I expected.

Also there is one YTP collab that's supposed to release on 1 year anniversary of the game's release and doesn't have a rule on making people to unlist their videos until the collab is released so expect to see more videos in a future.
As far as indie games go, I guess the game is a success. Not by the standards of stuff like Hollow Knight, Cuphead, FNAF, Baldi's Basics, etc. Hell no, it isn't that popular, but considering how indie projects like these 95 times out of a 100 are left in a dust bin of Steam searches, it is a big enough success to look good on a job CV (which Dopply doesn't seem intent on using, instead making more games with his studio). Also, unlike most ordinary indie games like these, it does seem to have a small, but a weirdly dedicated and dare I say obsessed community? It's one of those things like Steven Universe or Sonic where I have no clue whatsoever why people get so heavily invested in it, so I typically just move on and let spergs sperg.
Shit like this is too much oddly specific for me to just dismiss as LARP to appeal to the old guard. The power level is too high.
So I do not see this shit dissapearing any time soon. We will see a few more years of stuff worthwhile bumping this thread for.

Comparing the whole thing to Steven Universe and Sonic is very apt, seeing as how YouChew etc was and still is psychotically fixated with both of those dead and faggy properties. As for why they're heavily invested on Arzette, YouChewers and their similars just love swallowing whatever troonsloop jizz they come across, and that game in particular is about as peak troonslop as it gets.
Yep, the Seedy Eye discord (which is the current YouChew incarnation) is infested with creatures like those. Normally, it would be a w/e kind of thing. Kids, teens and even young adults get too giddy with garbage properties, and for the most part they just don't know any better. Speaking of Seedy Eye discord, Dopply felt compelled to make a YTP channel, presumably to appease the YTPMania/Pinchbacks leeches that come to the server solely for chasing for attention and clout. Unsurprisingly, the channel is more of a daycare center for ThirtyTwelve/3012, who is apparently not content with being the resident parasite of YTPmania and wants to mooch off everything and everyone like some kind of Jewish vampire.
(The "deactivated" in the screenshot is Retrospections/@SaxtonHale, for those curious, and yes, he was/is doing the same shit as 3012)
I still see Stuart on my Xitter timeline every now and then, being his usual autistic manchild self. I know he started a gaming channel a few years ago, and those videos are surprisingly okay, but outside of that, Stuart still does the usual "I am done with the YTP community/the YTP community is my life" routine of emotional parasitism. Of course he'll keep coming back to the YouChew ecosystem, because nobody else on the internet wants to be around him.
I might look into doing a Seedy Eye discord compendium this weekend. The server is more of the same YouChew-isms that have been documented on this thread time and again (i.e. tranny/faggot propaganda, bitching and moaning about anyone and anything vaguely constructed as right-wing, furfaggotry, blah blah). Gameplay wise the 2 more well known cdi zeldas are also a clone of Zelda 2 and there was blatant actual effort behind it which is why it's funny it came out the way it did. Said it before but Arzette seems to coast on "haha that BAD cdi animation you love is back!" Not realizing somehow despite being tied to ytp people how the main reason people made shitposts and memes out of the cutscenes was how fucking weirdly smooth and dynamic the animation was on top of looking like ass. There used to be some youtube poop vids back in the day where people would match the animation style to add in extra stuff that wasn't supposed to be there. Does getting entrenched in twitter politics shit just fucking somehow manage to cut out these peoples memories?

The reason why the animation looked so smooth on top of looking like ass was because it was animated by Russians right after the fall of USSR. If you look at soviet cartoons you'll frequently find that type of Eurojank of characters looking ugly as shit, but decently animated.
It is not something that I think can ever be perfectly replicated, even by competent animators. It's like using western classical music theory to recreate traditional Chinese music, music from a culture which had figured out music theory and rhythms entirely on it's own, having a different process in making it. Something is gonna feel off and uncharacteristically "fantastical" by applying western music theory to it. And yeah, adding Deviantart or Steven Universe tier character designs to the animation is gonna make it feel more like an inspiration, rather than a replication.
Actually, considering how in modern day every female video game character is supposed to be ugly, and Arzette strives to make it's female characters pretty, contrary to the ugly as shit characters it's inspired from, does that make the game conservative or progressive art wise?
