R.I.P. Red Lobster - Also Red Lobster General

To my surprise, Connecticut has several Red Lobster restaurants. Who the fuck would open up a coast-to-coast chain seafood restaurant in New England? At least they picked the lamest state in the region to open up in.

For whatever goddamn reason, Mass, New Hampshire and Connecticut also have Long John Silver's. Again, why?!

Everywhere else is full and the kids are screaming for shrimp.

Places like these were only available if you took a trip down to Florida. For Cracker Barrel, you'd need to get down to Tennessee. All three are in my city. So is Red Lobster and it's not on the list of places that are closing. Might be because of all the fucking NIGGERS they keep shipping in from Chicongo.

I'm surprised they haven't tried to save everything with a tacky promotion. Like specials involving those different colored lobsters. Plenty of idiots would flock into the restaurants to pay too much for a white or a blue lobster given how rare they are

08 on giga-roids. What 08 was supposed to metastasize into was stalled before the worst of it via central bankerbergs killing the last bit of "value" the Rothschild dollar had. It will not work again this time, and the pain everyone should have felt in 08 will be felt in the coming years and much worse due to said stalling.

Never went there. There was a local chain called Skippers my family always went to if they were in the mood for seafood. Didn’t Red Lobster get really ghetto by the 2000s anyway? All I ever saw of it were videos of niggers chimping out and starting fights there like it was Waffle House or Chuck E Cheese.
 
Those are based especially Outback and Longhorn. The others suck, though.

Pretty sure blue lobsters, at least the ones which stay blue after you cook them, are fuck huge. Like 5 pounds or more. Red Lobster is too cheap to order lobsters bigger than 1.5 pounds.

And there's even more closings not on this list. I found out just now that the Stony Brook NY location is closing down. This site has more locations not listed

Something about how to honor their most loyal customers ahead of Juneteemf, all Peoples of Calories get free lobsters from now until June?

No shit. Capital Grille came right out of PVD, so I know good steak. I also prefer to grill my own these days as you can just buy prime tenderloins from Costco and cook restaurant-quality steaks. I like Outback because they're fairly consistent. Their wings are good and steaks aren't half bad for a chain. Longhorn's steaks do suck, though. I'll give you that. Their burgers and chili cheese fries are what's good for me.

Offering all you can eat to Amerimutts is perhaps the single most cursed business strategy imaginable.
Places like Golden Corral and Olive Garden have a system to get people full on the cheapest food and make sure they barely eat any of the more expensive stuff. The most important thing is that at Golden Corral they have a wagie in the back cutting the prime rib but leave the mashed potatos and buns at the front.

With Olive Garden, they make sure people get plenty of unlimited breadsticks before they order their food.

All of this shit is only food in the loosest sense of the word. Before goyslop entered the vernacular, I called it fodder.
 
Back when I was in college I had a summer job at Red Lobster just doing basic kitchen stuff. It was pretty cool because they let you grab a cheddar biscuit right from the tray whenever you wanted. It was also kind of gross because you're throwing out shellfish.

I don't know why people are surprised that they're marketing to black people though. Black people have always loved Red Lobster, probably really loved the endless shrimp thing. The servers knew that really well because they never tipped lol.
 
My theory that Long John Silver's secretly operates the entire country is vindicated once again.
Never in my 30+X years on this planet have I seen anyone or heard of anyone going to a Long John Silver's. They've got to be a front for something... Like there's got to be some menu item you order and they hand you a quarter ounce of blow.
