On the Bridges Podcast 3 days ago with the Task and Purpose guy, there were a lot of stupid comments from Destiny but the worst might have been thinking that the Taiwan Straight freezes over in the winter and that was his first thoughts on why China may not be able to do land invasions any day of the year.

The Task and Purpose guy explained it was sea states, like water conditions / wave heights. Which should also should probably be the first thought as the reason if he paid attention to issues with the pier the US built to support Gaza with humanitarian aid.

This is another classic case of Tiny seemingly being unable to understand that context clues can impact the definition of a term / an idea being discussed. The interview is about internet politics influencers and what impact they actually have. When the interviewer asks Hasan (a politics influencer) if he thinks debates are productive, it stands to reason she is asking about internet debating, Not some idealized tradition of debate as a way to settle problems, the concept of debate in a legislature, or even televised debates between candidates. Tiny seemingly understands none of this and decides to ignore the only relevant concept (internet debates) and reee about how "muh federalist papers was debating and they was important".
In my opinion there are 2 options for why he does this:
A. He is genuinely too fucking stupid to understand context, and believes that this is Hasan rejecting the philosophical concept of debate
B. He thinks that his audience (and anyone else watching) fall under category A and that taking this position is an easy win over the man he obsesses over,

Either might explain why this kind of thing is keeps happening. I still haven't decided which I think it is true, or if people like you being duped counts as evidence for B, but whatever the cause the result is the same: He looks retarded. I do know that when it comes to what is actually being discussed in the interview Hasan is 100% right: 2 retards yelling at each other on the internet is not federalist papers and will not actually convince anyone watching anything except that their original position is correct.

As a side note I'd recommend Task and Purpose (the youtube channel not the website) to people who haven't seen his stuff. He makes solid, fun videos about geopolitical goings on that get the main point across without being too autisticly into the weeds. He also seems to make an effort to not be too biased either way when it comes to current major conflicts.

He is the age where he is probably asking to know Destiny more and he is also old enough that Destiny can take basically zero time to care for him. He can park him in front of video games and just get meals for 2 people instead of one. The mom may also be pushing it so she has a month during the summer without the kid around. Making the kid spend a chunk of summer with the other parent during summer where it wont cause school disruptions is pretty normal with separated parents who arent fighting over the kid.

He may spend a fews days or so taking him out to something he probably wanted to do anyways like Disney World as a not full adult that he is (he lives in Florida still right?), but has an excuse with Nathan that is less "cringe" to go.

Yeah, the whole segment was really sad. I know he does the "heh I was just pretending to be retarded" thing a lot but I think he is actually serious here which is tragic. I also noticed he referred to Nathan's mom as a "single mom", which is just sad when you think about it. They're not co-parenting or anything, he chooses to not live with his son to pursue his hedonistic lifestyle. Even if he didn't live with Nathan's mom, he could still live in the area and, given his flexible work schedule, be involved every day even if it was just dropping him off at school.

At the risk of sounding like I'm running defense for Destiny, I think reading this thread on the regular is beginning to become more psychologically damaging to him whether he's aware of it or not. And to be fair it would be for anyone. Most people don't have the misfortune of having 75% percent of their interactions recorded for an army of online autists to break apart and often accurately criticize.

In the past, many of the posts here were from retarded right-wingers who didn't really watch his streams, hated him for partisan political reasons and didn't understand his character. This was not much of a bother to him and he could easily dismiss most of it without much trouble. However, increasingly posters here are becoming much better at pinpointing what's wrong with him. I think Blav may have opened the floodgates for the tone of the posts here to change with the Lauren Southern documentation. Now he reads this thread regularly and can't help himself mentioning it on stream.
