I dunno about that, TTYD has better music and partners imo.
Music is subjective but there are romhacks that buff the partners and give them new attacks that make them as good as TTYD gameplay wise, it's just a matter of waiting now since recent developments should make things easier in that scene
Not just gameplay-wise, I feel they're more interesting as characters in TTYD too. They're still good of course in the original.
