Attorney plans to enter into a plea bargain with the defendants and the

them to get out of the area.

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for May 21; please write and fax your
letter immediately to the following persons. Demand that all charges
against Rice and Myers be retained, that their case be heard before a
jury and that they receive the maximum sentence under law if they are
convicted. They are clearly a threat to animals and humans alike!

The ALDF posted an update to their site on July 26.

A hearing was held on July 22 and a pre-trial conference was scheduled for August 13. The judge ordered that the defendants' computers be returned to them by July 29. Hopefully, a jury trial will be set at that time.

Ask that they receive the maximum sentence under law if they are convicted, and that the dogs not be returned to the defendants; instead they should be adopted out to loving care givers.

Backtracking 5 days, an article was published in the Feather River Bulletin.

County Administrative Officer Jim Stretch, who also doubles as the animal control director, said last week the dogs have tested positive for the parasite. Cost for the treatment can be about $200 to $300, but Stretch said the county will attempt to collect the money from the dogs' owners. The owners, Steve Rice and Aaron Myers, are accused of sexually assaulting their dogs.

The men have declined to waive their ownership of the dogs, which they have said they hope to get back after their cases are resolved. Rice and Myers are scheduled to return to court Friday, July 23, to either resolve the case or schedule a misdemeanor trial.

Aaron Myers and Stephen Rice, the Plumas County residents who were arrested earlier this year on allegations of sexually assaulting dogs and committing acts of animal cruelty, have been banished from California by a judge. The decision by Judge Alan H. Thieler was issued after Myers and Rice each agreed to plead no contest to a single misdemeanor sex assault count. Myers and Rice each received suspended jail sentences of 90 days from Thieler. As a condition of their probation, the two men were ordered by Thieler to leave the state.

Thieler also ruled the men's dogs will be permanently turned over to Plumas County Animal Control, which is free to put the animals up for adoption. As part of the plea, a misdemeanor possession of child pornography charge was dismissed against Rice. The pleas conclude one of Plumas County's most peculiar criminal cases that essentially peaked during a pretrial hearing during the summer. At the June hearing, Plumas County Sheriffs Department Detective Greg Hagwood testified Rice boasted on the Internet about sexual encounters with dogs. Hagwood said he conversed with Rice in what is known as an electronic chat room.

At the pretrial hearing, Hagwood read from a transcript that detailed the sexually explicit conversation the detective conducted with a man he believed was Rice. Hagwood testified he was able to determine he was conversing with Rice by having Sheriff Len Gardner and another detective drive to the defendant's computer shop in Quincy. Hagwood said Rice stepped away from his office computer when Gardner arrived, and that Rice noted their visit when he returned to the chat room. Hagwood also testified that Rice invited him during the chat room encounter to his Greenville home. Hagwood testified that, when he later followed the driving directions he was given in the chat room, he ended up at Rice's residence.

At the conclusion of the hearing, Judge Ira Kaufman declined to hold Rice and Myers to answer to felony allegations of animal cruelty. Rather, Kaufman ruled the men were required to face misdemeanor charges of sexually assaulting dogs. While the men awaited trial, Myers was twice remanded into custody for allegedly violating a court order to stay away from animals. In addition, a child pornography allegation was filed against Rice when the district attorney's office alleged it discovered evidence of the offense on a computer hard drive owned by Rice.

I know this won't be a super high caliber post but I also don't feel like having to hop multiple bestiality sites to details this creeps videos, but there's a probable zoosadist who was active at least around 2011 (judging by a blanked furaffinity page) that went by the name of dog69er. He would watermark his videos with this name, and uploaded stuff to barnlove (and most likely the other sites associated with beastforum). They also apparently have a poker pro labs profile? I can't see it without a login but it has the same name so probably the same person.

Some of his content is on zooX18 but it's actually private, although multiple other sites list his content.

The only video I've actually seen (it was bouncing around pre-porn ban tumblr) was "dog forced anal rape" which had him forcing one male dog to rape another, muzzled male dog. Both were small breed dogs. It was originally off of barnlove from what I know.

The other videos I found listed have titles like "Akita takes a werewolf cock", "Shepard Sandwhich", "Akita threesome", "Akita in heat", "female dog gets a pounding", "Rottie ride", "Pounding the akita", "Yellow lab gets a good ride".

What it boils down to is a Wyoming hunter named Cody Roberts ran over an apparent wolf pup twice with his snow mobile, duct taped its muzzle shut and took the injured dog to Green River Bar in Daniels, Wyoming (his hometown) and kept it there for a few hours before dragging it out and putting it out of its misery with a shot to the head. Also at some point he attached a tracking collar and a shock collar to the wolf.


He was only fined $250 for illegally possessing warm-blooded wildlife.

It's a terrible story. I wouldn't be surprised if it was relatively common for hunters to be sadistic towards animals; it takes a certain kind of person anyway to enjoy hunting for sport. The same thing happens with people who butcher cows and pigs. They become desensitized to what they're doing. That doesn't make it okay of course.

I don't know what to think. This is bordering the line where nothing can be done in the matter. It should not be legal to intentionally torture any living thing, but laws like that might interfere with hunting, farming, and butchery, so nothing is done.
