It was the Priest. Man, no wonder the cops jumped. When the Pastor decides to step foreword its real shit. That is a huge deal incidentally, for those who don't understand Christian theology. Regardless of denominations, issues that happen within the church and its parishioners are the purview of the Priest, and US law actually protects Priests as much as Lawyers. They cannot be compelled in any way to divulge information they may know that was told to them in confidence. That said, the Priest also has a duty of care to ALL his parishioners, and this includes Rekieta's kids. Which means he probably first went to Rekieta and told him to shape up. When that didn't happen, his duty shifted to the children.
Yeah it's a understatement how massive this is. Priests hear a ton of shit, much of which could be reported. The fact this was, speaks volumes.

His very first statement is a lie. I am reading, right now, a charging document that lists three separate reasons for why he was arrested, with one of them literally being a serious felony that carries a 25 year sentence.
Look at the date, this was from Jan. I forget who he was responding to, but he was being very smug.

Also, if Nick doesn't go home and IMMEDIATELY dump out all his booze, he's learned nothing and will relapse immediately. He needs to purge it all while the shame is fresh and check himself into rehab or there's no hope for him.
Wrong he needs to hop on stream and immediately address these allegations as he’s twitching and shaking from withdrawal. It would just be so funny and weird if he did. And I would be extremely owned if he did.

Now that Nick can't use drugs or alcohol to avoid facing the abject horror of what his life has become, how long do you all think he and Kayla remain together? I bet this ends with her taking the kids and filing for divorce because even through her pill-addled fog he'd be fucking insufferable.
Wouldn't be surprised if it was her family (the grand parents) who took the kids; dollars to donuts they tell their daughter to come home and tell Nicky to stay the fuck away. Wouldn't be surprised if it does end with a fracture of the family, because I doubt Nick has the discipline to adhere to the rules of his bail without a tard wrangler; especially once the withdrawl pains really start to set in, he's gonna be hating life and a bottle is easier than suffering.

I guess I was right that Nick isn't the type to let the police in without a warrant- but I actually wouldn't have guessed that he was stupid or selfish enough to make them knock down the door with kids around. Given the circumstances of the call and the fact that they detained him outside the residence, I suspect they were trying to do things in as reasonable a manner as possible to try and reduce the trauma on the kids. At that point, you make it clear that you are not consenting to a search, have it recorded, preserve the evidentiary issue- but then you let them in so that you kids don't have to be on the receiving end of that.

What a disgrace.

Keeping him in jail for a few weeks would have been the best thing for everyone, especially him. Someone crashing and burning this fast can easily end up dead.

Chlordiazepoxide (Librium) is not the same as Diazepam (Valium).

Totally different benzodiazepines.

They are both used for alcohol tapers but Librium is much more common.

Yes Nick could get it from his doctor in theory, but most doctors won't prescribe it outpatient, because it's a major malpractice risk (ie if Nick drinks while on Librium he can die ).

Nick would be wise to go on a Librium taper and stop drinking. Probably would need to go inpatient to get the Librium.
It’s pretty easy to get a week’s worth of Librium, especially if you are not repeatedly trying to get it. I’ve been prescribed a week’s worth twice, once in an ER for self-reported alcohol withdrawal and once when I was in an outpatient program. Both of these were voluntary, though, no arrests or whatever

What shame? Look at his booking photo. He's annoyed, not ashamed. I would wager a $20 superchat that he is already drunk again.
