I'm giddy about this because of the kids, actually, especially knowing that they're with relatives and not foster care. Send me the rainbows but there is the possibility of a massive redemption arc here. If I were Nick, here is what I would do to try and salvage my future:

1. Make arrangements for my parents to take my kids for 60-90 days.
2. Go to a reputable in-patient rehab facility.
3. The only stream until rehab is complete would be on the way to the facility. Apologize, promise to try your best to get sober and come back to Lawsplaining when sober.
4. Complete rehab (the hardest part).
5. Once back home, jump right into an interesting trial that is starting and live stream the whole thing. In the down time tell amusing anecdotes about getting sober.
6. Stop night streaming and stream instead during the day, or in the evening.
7. Settle with Montagraph
8. Profit ... enough to help pay for the incoming legal bills and Montograph's settlement.

He could come out of this. At this point I would say he has a good 30% chance of getting through this with his family in tact, but he has to come to Jesus first.
