I personally don't think he will recover. There's just too much stacked against him. He has an extremly big ego and thinks he knows best what is good for him. He has brushed off every intervention so far, and I doubt an overnight stay in jail has changed his mind. It also doesn't help that his wife is an drug addict as well. So now you have two addicts living in the same empty house, that's not going to go over well.

He also did not look remorseful during the arraignment. I don't think he understands what situation he is in now. He is now in a position to loose a civil and criminal case within the year.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see him insult the judge in person, when he inevitable gets dragged back to court because he can't stay sober.

he might stream later today but so far he's stayed quiet.

I hope he does because i'll be glued to my monitor
I have very little faith in his ability to show any sense of self-control. It's also why I respectfully disagree with your earlier assertion about his punishment, despite you objectively being correct. I expect Nick to stream and film himself breaking the bail conditions he agreed to and turn this into a far worse mess than it already is.

Hope I'm wrong though, I genuinely want to see him get better, prove all doubters like myself wrong, and put this dark chapter behind him. But I'm not optimistic sadly.

I think people need to gain a little perspective on what happened in the context of how the courts and police see it.

Nick & Kayla are bad parents who put their own pleasure above their family. They used drugs and did unsafe things.

The police see this sort of thing everyday and much worse. This is a mild case and considering Nick's position and wealth it's unlikely he or Kayla will spend long in prison, if at all.

It's s first offense, and they can probably afford at least a first round of detox/rehab. They'll almost certainly get a reduced sentence unless Nick either does something stupid and pisses off the judge, or manages to get off on a technicality. I'm really concerned if he continues to try and represent himself. I can understand representing himself for the bail/arraignment hearing, even though he's still compromised- he's probably terrified of putting himself in the hands of a public defender. If he's smart the first thing he did when he got out after taking a shower, and getting some sleep is start looking for a really fucking good defense attorney.

That said, even if they manage to get away with a light sentence, or if one of them takes one for the team so the other can get off- maybe some time in the slammer is what they need to come clean? The biggest nightmare would be for them to go free, then self-destruct a few weeks later.

I don't think anyone wants Nick's next stream to start off with him tweeked out like Hunter S. Thompson, crying about how bad he fucked up his kid's lives then eating an AR-15.

If he can afford it, he should hire Bruce Rivers... It's the lawtube crossover we need.

It feels vindicating to know that we were right all along and that shit was way worse behind the scenes. I honestly thought the cokestream felt like a fucking parody when he showed up after the break with powder on his nose. Calling a spade a spade is more often than not right and we lowly incel prudes got him sussed out good. Good on that Pastor doing the right thing and exercising his duties to protect children.

I don't think I've ever seen this much activity on the forum ever. I can't wait to see what happens next.

There's probably a 20-30 minute window where Nick is actually at the house, with full understanding of the situation, complying.

Given all of this, it SOUNDS like the local PD rushed to break down the door before announcing to his wife that they had a warrant, or in allowing Nick to have eyes on the document. Heavy emphasis on "SOUNDS like" (because who knows what really went on) but it does appear to be corroborated by the timestamps that we know of.

The police's description does not suggest they even tried to provide the warrant prior to forced entry, only that the minor child wouldn't let the officers in. On the other hand, there's nothing that suggests the presence of an immediate danger that couldn't have waited for Nick to drive 3 blocks back home to see the warrant.
This sounds to me like a clear case of "WE GOTTA GET IN BEFORE THEY FLUSH THE DRUGS GO GO GO" kind of thing--what I'm curious to know is what the details of the search warrant were, and if this is normal departmental policy.

Reasons why Aaron, the Liar is a piece of shit:
  • Knew EVERYTHING and didn't report it, allowing the Rekieta children to be endangered.
  • Is "soulmates" with the domestic abuser and child endangerer Kayla Rekieta, a married woman.
  • Only wanted to get "the girls" out of there instead of the real victims, the children.
  • Lied, saying he wasn't taking phone calls relevant to April/Nick/Kayla only to admit it was April's parents.
  • Fabricated that "Kiwi Farms is already taking responsibility!" No such posts existed.
  • Platforming Vito, who is a pedophile who has nothing of value to add, for self-serving reasons.
  • Platforming Ethan Ralph, who is a wife and child abuser who has nothing of value to add, for self-serving reasons.
  • Was receiving breaking news updates from his lawyer which he was reading immediately on-air.
  • Even after it was revealed it was a mandatory reporter, suggested Kiwi Farms called and impersonated a mandatory reporter.
  • Acting as if Kiwi Farms only fingered him as the reporter out of spite instead of rational logic.
I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire unless I could piss gasoline.

I wonder how many people have gooned to April's mugshot
We know the following, and they should all be treated with the chair.
@FedPostalService
@Fapcop
@he who has thus come/gone
There's probably more, they all need the chair, three times, connected in series, after waterboarding.

Every kiwi is an illegal drug user it seems, from pot to ketamine to coke, all of it. Then they go 'omg this guy got caught', while they all do it all the time. What can really be said of that? I mean most kiwis won't have kids so not quite as bad, so that's not as bad?

I know this will get flags, people hate their mirrors.
I've handled a bunch of legal versions of these medication due to work.
From what I've seen and administered, I've learned to STAY THE FUCK away from any of them. We had this single mother of 3 who would be towed in weekly because she threw a fit over her narcotics prescription, she's a nice lady but turns into a demon when she's zonked out. I've heard horror stories with painkiller's descent into illegal adulterated street drugs causing overdose/arrest/near-death/deadlol.

Not sure what your point is but you're clearly a sperg and drugs are shit.

The pastor that saved children.

If the grandparents couldn't get the kids why not send them to Jim and Jade, he'd have a family and the kids would have a cooler dad.
Yeah, but counter point, Metokur is in Schrodingers Potato Nigger mode. Do we want them losing a second, cooler dad after like a month to Ultra Mega Cancer AIDS?

Though Jim could always pass down the hat business to the eldest, he'll just have to teach them how to whip the caged Cambodian properly to work the Jim AI.

Here's some brutal insight to Nick's likelihood of pulling up, coming from suprisingly, his lead noseguard atty branca.
1:10 odds, redemption unlikely

Pretty heart feltvideo from this guy. He obviously cares a lot about Nick but he was realistic about the situation and Nick's responsibility in it. Nick needs to see this I think, but it won't do any good. Nick will see the genuine sympathy as judgemental.
