They haven’t been paying attention. They’ve admitted that. That’s what gets me so nad with them, because of their proffesion and they’ve been closer to Nick, they are in a far better position to know what will help and to get it. Abd yet here we are. They’ve said they talked and offered help and Nick declined but I get the feeling they all know they could have done more and a lot of what they are saying is to excuse their inaction.

I am a lawyer as well and sincerely at least in the country I live, there is some strong corparativism among lawyers as such you will never want to attack or accuse another lawyer unless you want to be isolated from the wider group. This could be the reason, no one wants to attack Nick out of fear they will be marked as unreliable to have around or work with

It's more than that. Skunk spray sticks to everything. The grass. The trees, the house, anything in your yard. It smells awful and will take a while to naturally degrade.
