I'm not saying that Nick definitely didn't get the black eye from falling, but most of the damage seems to be directly on the upper portion of his eyesocket itself. So if he did fall and hit his eye, it looks like he wouldve had to hit something that smashed into his eye itself rather than hit his cheeck, nose, or any other portion of his face. Still seems more reasonable that he got punched, imo. But he also was completely trashed the night before he got it, so it could still be what actually happened.
