They're doubling down on this (stolen from @Barry McKockner in the criminal case thread).
>cops only investigation was to watch social media, listen to gossip, and isolated video
social media is a great source of information when the subject of your investigation routinely incriminates himself there.
gossip.. well it kind of stops being gossip when people make an actual police report based on first hand observations.
isolated video? there's dozens if not hundreds of other videos where he is just as drunk and delusional, just a bit less agitated.

plus i know this is probably not legally sound, but the facts on the ground that the cops found in the house kind of proved it all right.
if they had searched the house and came out empty handed (no drugs and no april) then these arguments about the search being unjustified would find a lot more sympathy - but with the way things are, all the 'gossip' about sex and drugs and child neglect turned out to be 100% true and correct, so making the argument that the search should not have been done just makes you look like a callous contrarian.

Andrew of Legal Mindset gives me "sure, you were technically correct, but I didn't give you permission to be correct so therefore it doesn't count!" vibes. He's outright saying bullshit like "before, the relationship with April Imholte wasn't relevant, BUT NOW we can say it's relevant! NOW we can say it counts! NOOOOWWWW it's become relevant!"

You don't get credit for being a day late, dollar short.

Legal Mindset in one word: "NOOOWWWWWWWW"

not sus at all. Its very straight forward. Cop gets complaint on 16th. Cop looks into it. Nick is big famous lawyer guy. Cop finds all that incriminating evidence online pretty easy and it matches up with what 4+ people from church report. There's no information the cop relays he had noticed before the 16th other than witness reports that he received during his investigation that started after the 16th.

Nothing sus at all, no defense for nick, nothing.
I hope local LEO were visiting Nick’s KF for background information. Nicks worst nightmare becomes reality.

mean, don't get me wrong, our kid is always claiming he's "hungry" when we won't let him just eat whatever he wants, whenever he wants. But when it's meal time, he's going first to make sure he gets as much as he wants. I have NO doubts that this is NOT what's going on in this house. I would be SHOCKED if Kayla or Nick could scramble anything other than their brains at this point.
Yeah, but those are two different things. A child actually going hungry has physiological signs that I’m willing to bet were instrumental in the four churchgoers growing concern, prompting them to take action.

Lmao that if all the lawtubers had kept their mouths shut for 5 seconds to wait for more info to come out that this wouldn't be so embarrassing. Instead they had to rally around their BalldoBoss and we have "that church will FALL APART because the congregation will NEVER trust the pastor ever again because they SNITCHED... about the children not being properly fed or clothed or bathed"

For people who try to LARP about being smart that's pretty dumb!!!

Aaron claimed on his show last night that at one point one of the Rekieta children messaged them while they weren't at the Rekietas saying that their parents were fighting and it was very loud.

He said that they called Nick and/or Kayla to try and calm them down.

He says that afterwards they sent one of the daughters a message on Facebook Messenger telling her to stay in her room.

Shoot yourself in the head, Barnes.

Why is it that so many Americans are so incapable of decent handwriting. I knew your schools were pretty bad but I've seen better standards of literacy out the Congo.
Penmanship hasn't been compulsory in the US for decades. Also with the advent of computers, handwriting has declined.

However the deputy was probably writing on bad surfaces. The last page of the warrant has moderately better handwriting.

Anyway Nick spiral was bad but I think it was just snorting coke and drinking.
Yeah, I think you're right on that. He might have gotten to that point eventually but wasn't there yet, shooting coke is hardcore addiction even worse than other needle drugs.

Snorting coke fits more with the behaviors described in the police report as well. Imagine getting up during a religious service to snort a line. Could have been a stimulant too, I imagine whatever helps dent the atrocious hangovers without smelling like hair-of-the-dog (really withdrawals). What a nightmare to be in, I love some shitty-smelling nugs or a beer once in a while but this just sounds like perpetual misery.

Even morseo for the kids, I can't imagine what it'd be like seeing your parents drunk and blasted on hard drugs 24/7.

YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW THE TRUTH!
The truth: *obvious child neglect reported by multiple members of your church*
The truth: worse than we could've predicted
We should try to work together to figure out what this is saying. I got like 5 entries in before giving up:

That's a 22lr and a 223. I know the cop scribbles like a 5 year old but no way he'd conflate them.
both are technically '22 caliber'
the .223 bullet is longer, and it sits in a much bigger cartridge with a much bigger load of powder behind it, but the bullet diameter (and the diameter of the barrel of the gun that shoots it) is the same
