Did anyone anyone archive the Aaron stream from this morning? I was in the middle of watching it but then it went private. I have a sick love of watching people who have fucked up come to Jesus with how badly they fucked up. I said it earlier in the thread, but being conscious of being a fuckup is only the first step and he's getting off on this right now. Asking the Judge to charge him isn't him wanting to pay for his crimes as much as it is getting off on being punished.
You see this often in addicts, especially deathfats - they become hyper aware of their problems but never address them because acknowledging them get's them enough sympathy and dopamine that they never work on the core issues. It's a step further than Nick for sure, but it doesn't absolve him of anything. Until, or if, he finds God and makes some meaningful changes, I do think there is a path forward for him - he will never absolve the sins of his past, but from the few days of streams I've watched with him he has the wherewithal to address these issues and find the light. I have far less hope for the others who are involved.
As for all the other lawfaggots out there, one thing I want to point out is that most of these people end up defending criminals. As much as this is a nick dick riding competition, they are also advertising their legal services by broadcasting how retarded one can interpret the law to get people off. While Nick's case is black and white to anyone paying attention, they want to make it clear they are lawyers first, humans second, which is attractive for the criminal audience they intend to profit off of.
To quote BB: they don't want a criminal lawyer, they want a "criminal" lawyer. This is why they get so caught up over not speculating or saying anything - if they do so, it will be used against them in their future job offerings. Guilty people seek lawyers who help other guilty people. It's important to remember: All Lawyers Are Bastards
