I suddenly am thinking of Nick in the back of a sheriff's cruiser screaming "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM, INCEL PRUDES? I AM THE FUCKING LAW POPE!!!"

The sheriff deputy just sighs and turns up the radio.

Yeah, sure dude.

And then by doing it your way, we'll might get it for a reduced rate after like a year or so of protracted litigation.

Also, you're citing the Federal FOIA. Not the Minnesota equivalent. You also seemingly don't understand they have to edit the fucking footage to censor the kids.

Just stop. Null says he will pay for it. Kiwis will reimburse him through crowdfunding. I, for one, am thankful for all that. If you disagree, simply don't chip in for the reimbursement.
It's gonna take a longass time either way. I completely forgot I even made a FOIA request before I received my last one. Most people here will forget it was ever even requested before it's received and this thread will probably be dead by then. Going the lawyer route could potentially even expedite it compared to the normal way. I also don't believe any judge in the country would agree that paying $3k for something that citizens legally own is reasonable.

I was making a joke about the opulence of their home. Also, one of their kids is 16. Nigger, i lived on my own when I was 15, no excuse for that.
Hardly excuses it and Parentification (when you force your older kids to look after your younger kids) is a form of abuse. I'm assuming the oldest kid was clean and looking after himself to an extent, it was the girls that were likely starving and smelling from neglect.

Post from a guy who hosts body cam footage on YouTube for a living says he received 10gb worth of body cam footage from one agency for $60, and another charged him $2.1k. They shouldn't be able to name their price, and it shouldn't cost $3k. FBI charged me $0 for 700 pages I requested. I'd rather pay the lawyer for the same outcome either way personally.

As others have said the price difference has to do with privacy requirements regarding children. They have to go through and manually edit to blur every frame that shows the kids.

Whereas releasing dashcam footage of some college aged clown at a traffic stop has no such manpower requirements.

My Xitter trends have predicted the end. Rekieta will be found guilty and then be hung by the neck until dead.

I'm not excusing anything, just making a point. Kids raise kids all the time and it's not always abuse but this shit is fucked. Again, just making a joke about trustfundo having two God damn kitchens.

KAYLA ENJOYERS WE HAVE BEEN REDEEMED!!!
Don't know bro. She looks kind of young.

Questionable relationship with an additional couple" what a bunch of Nancy's. Is it weird and immoral? sure, is it ILLEGAL? no it's not.
It puts Aaron in the house. Which links to his knowledge of drug use in the home. They used Aaron's podcasts too. It also ties April to the house.

I hate how Kayla (allegedly) used her kids as an excuse to reject any advice that Aaron offered (if the reported dialogue between them actually happened). "Oh, I can't leave my kids! I don't have time to get help!" But when the nanny/Aaron left, they had no one to watch the kids because both her and Nick wouldn't do it. You "can't leave the kids," but you aren't even THERE.

The neglect charge seems well-established, and it makes me angry that they both seem likely to keep using their kids as shields to justify their behavior. They'll say it's so "heartless" of internet commentators/the state/the church to separate these loving parents from their kids, when they couldn't even bother waking up for them most days.

The only other alternative is that Aaron invented this conversation, in which case he had to pretend like she ever remembered she had children to convince himself she wasn't that far gone.

Aaron claimed on his show last night that at one point one of the Rekieta children messaged them while they weren't at the Rekietas saying that their parents were fighting and it was very loud.

He said that they called Nick and/or Kayla to try and calm them down.

He says that afterwards they sent one of the daughters a message on Facebook Messenger telling her to stay in her room.

If this is true, that the kids were panic-texting Aaron at night, my anger is bottomless. Parents fighting this intensely is always awful, even if they're sober. Can you imagine those kids knowing that the only adult in their lives they can depend on is some GUY they only met a few weeks ago? The Rekietas don't give a single shit.

Literally this. What is a 16 year old supposed to buy food with? He might have a job, but for five kids total??? Are you nuts? He still has to pay for gas too.
"B-b-but April's credit cards were right there on the table! You telling me the kids couldn't swipe it and use it to Uber to a soup kitchen?"
