Their a chance that one of the cops that is investigating this might be a Kiwifarmer that might be informing their boss about this. The report is so detail, like I have a hard time believing this might not be a normie that wrote this. If this turns out that later on in this case, that some of the evidence is used from the Kiwifarms site by a Kiwifarmers who is a cop to get Nick Rekieta some prison time, this is going to be funny.

What absolute white trash Nick and his wife have turned into. I hope the grift was worth it. I’m personally of the belief that people who willfully do this to their children (especially these amounts of kids) cannot change their behaviour and shouldn’t be allowed to regain custody of their kids. To neglect one kid in the most generous circumstances is debatable but to do this to 5 kids at once despite the privelleges Nick and his wife have squandered really does the condemnation for me.

Very :optimistic:presumption. I'm betting Nick will be spending a lot of time in the shower once it becomes common knowledge that his sister-in-law is an incel prude as well.
My suspicion was at least one of the 4 who ratted Rekieta out must have been his wife's family. Of all the people they'd noticed things first and have most incentive to act. I was expecting Kayla's parents or her cousin she was tight with.

What's surprising about the incident report was Kayla and April were in the kitchen? I was assuming they made the girl answer the door while they flushed all the drugs down the toilet, but they're in the kitchen possibly hiding? Rekieta's wife is not acting like an adult at all?

I love how so many people wanted to stay anonymous but the cops from Podunk PD just fuck is all up.
It's been, about 2 decades now, but there was a boating incident in my hometown; I don't remember the specifics, but there were two guys, drunk, and one of them had their son. I don't remember the specifics, but someone who shouldn't have been operating the boat was, and someone got hurt, and the kid was obviously taught to lie. You'd figure, because it's a boating accident, the County Sherriff would have extensive documentation about the boat in question right? No, not at all, and what they did have were badly angled photos to where you could see that something is dented and there's blood on it and one of the men in court is injured; but the photo of what struck the dude was so bad, you couldn't tell what anything was, and the defense lawyer pretty much spent his time shitting all over the police work. And my hometown is so podunk we don't even have our own PD, it's County Sherriff, and it's maybe 6 dudes at most. Not gonna say all podunk police is shit, but most of it is, because when barely anything happens and you're so understaffed, you don't have much opportunity to develop those skills. It becomes a "Do your best" and hope for the best outcome.

Doubt they're a farmer but likely the found the farms during investigation. Maybe they'll be one after the case. Make Spicer the first pro kiwi farms town. 🌈

I think the fact that the kids were hungry and dirty is a testament to how fast this thing went downhill. Kids who grow up most of their lives with abusive and neglectful parents manage to feed themselves, and wash clothes, especially a 16 year old. Unless there was zero food in the house, the teen could have opened spaghettios for the other children. But if you’ve been nanny’d and suddenly have to do this, there’s a learning curve.

I know we're all appalled at the child neglect, but I'm honestly appalled at these kids' lack of skills. They're school-age, and can't make a sandwich or some cereal? The sixteen year old can't do laundry, or cares so little about his or her siblings that they aren't changing their clothes? Or calling their grandparents if they're that helpless?

I'm not saying the eldest should be parenting four other kids, but being able to manage some basics like food and laundry by that age so your siblings aren't starving seems doable for a teenager. Was there no grocery shopping being done without the nanny to take care of it? Do they not have contact with their grandparents? Have they been so neglected that they can't do basic tasks for themselves at all? Are they all developmentally disabled?

I just have so many questions.

Doubt it’s Kratom. You only see that shot with junkies who are trying to quit or tie over the withdrawals.
It's still a stimulant and gives you a buzz, like caffeine but a lot more pronounced. Lots of people who don't use hard drugs do kratom to give themselves a kick, it's cheap and legal in many countries. Granted I don't see why Schnozz would be keeping that shit around when he has an ounce of coke at the ready, maybe it's for when/if he ever wanted to take a break and sleep or something.
I think it's very possible it isn't kratom but so far it seems like the most likely suggestion I've seen ITT.

This the nanny? I refuse to believe that there are many chicks in MN with that name.
Based on the contents of the Pinterest, almost 100% sure it is.

Mentions of being a nanny, resume information from February when she would have left, mentions of Minneapolis, bible quotes that indicate she was having a rough time + at least one post about “keeping your mouth shut”. I’d be shocked if it isn’t her.

It is her. She also has a Twitter that she hasn't used for 10 years, but it confirms the Minneapolis locale:

Part of it is likely the rural location. If there’s no food in the house, the kids can’t just go down the street to the convenience store.

Addiction also breeds secrets, and I can imagine the oldest one was just overwhelmed at the prospect of doing laundry for 8 people.

This is a major issue, I also imagine at a certain point there just isn't soap to clean clothing with. This has been going on for awhile, stuff is going to run out very quickly in such a large house.

Additionally as Fapcop noted, there is a lot of shame and fear in this. I have no doubt the kids heard nonstop how they'd lose their home and family if they talked about it.

He neglected his 5 children. He is a worthless piece of shit and has some heavy-duty atonement due. He doesn’t deserve his children. Neither does Kayla, but I hope she can divorce him and get them back someday. Two addicts won’t have an easy time… and those kids deserve far better.

Kayla isn't worth much more. She'd probably be a passable mom when not on drugs, but this is a woman who saw her husband express interest in degenerate bullshit and thought "I should support my husband in this and suggest opening up our marriage."

I really wish they'd post the info on if nick paid cash bond or not. I really don't think he's going to make it to August without a bond violation either way.

I'm more interested in seeing if Kayla's bond was paid. I imagine Nick shelling to 50k, so that he can get drunk while leaving his wife with conditional release would lead to even more tensions in the house.

Look up the address. You need a car to go get groceries and I don't believe the oldest kid has a driver's license. A 16 year old probably wouldn't regularly walk six miles to the supermarket and back to buy groceries for five kids.

Additionally, this was sorta just dropped in their laps rather quickly. Rekieta's downfall has been rather accelerated. A lot of basic skills that are needed for day to day care would have needed to be learned rather suddenly, for a large family, who likely lack necessary resources, and who have been rather suddenly bereft of parental care and assistance or even a substitute in the form of the nanny.

The kids are blameless, though it does further compound just how bad a job Rekieta was doing as a parent even before the drugs that he failed to install in the eldest anything but the most basic of self-care skills.

Perhaps its just me being an old-timer but all my kids were taught how to make basic food, clean laundry, clean house, and clean dishes starting around the age of 12. We did wait until then for anything more than tidying up so that they could actually understand safety for using chemicals, but they were still -taught-, and even before then the older kids often used the younger ones as gophers for tasks. It does baffle me that with a live in nanny they never had her help teach the eldest these tasks.

my guess was that the nanny was there for most of the kids' lives and nick and kayla never really needed to be too hands-on or learn proper housekeeping/child-rearing. when the nanny bolted because of the drug use/dysfunction, the void left behind would surely be massive. two ill-prepared parents now less functional than ever having to raise their kids for the first time while constantly strung out---it's no wonder the kids were neglected tbh.

- Rekieta is your dad

How are you supposed to develop a character or to learn shit if those are your circumstances, you think Rekieta is going to teach them how to cook some grilled chicken?
Maybe the oldest kids were making hotpockets or frozen pizzas and not for all the siblings most of the time.
Remembering old and I mean very old Rekieta streams he often complained that his favorite flavor of poptart was always getting sniped by those damn keedz, so yeah poptarts for breakfast was common even years ago.

When the "frozen/ready to heat" slop is gone I do not think they had the ability to come up with anything edible.
Also consider this, after the junkie saga picked up speed they must have gotten sloppy with groceries, grains, veggies and meat I guarantee they have not bought in months... Next to reheat slop the easiest things to prepare are canned goods, but the youngest children may not have been able to prepare those.

And as I write this, I realize that the spaghetti-Os story from Aaron is more disgusting...

With basic skills the eldest probably could have helped. But without them, anything he or any of the others could do was cut off at the knees.

It's not just that he lost, it's that they openly admitted that this was the reason they didn't hire him and successfully argued that it was perfectly legal to choose not to hire smart people.
It's an especially egregious ruling when you take Griggs v. Duke Power Co. into consideration.
Discrimination against retards? Can't do that, cuz dat be rayciss n sheeeeeit.
Discrimination against smart people? A-OK!

And people are actually surprised that Boeing are having so much trouble with their planes at the moment...
