Welp, finished the episode. It felt shorter than 23 minutes so, I guess that's a positive? Anyway, um...I liked the scenes that featured the Cherubs and DHORKs. They were kind of funny. Made the sex jokes less cringe when they were thinking Blitzø was buying weapons to use on humans. Though that's kind of going to the cons I have with the episode...

The sex jokes are so fucking annoying, but that's in par with HB, so can't change that. The musical number wasn't very entertaining and was pointless. Also apparently they haven't fucked for a few months? I guess can kind of see that with that last few episodes whith Stolas getting shot or whatever, but still what is this timeline? Why does the timeline always feel rushed? And the whole, "rest of IMP was following Blitzø to make sure her doesn't fuck up with Stolas" was a bit bullshit that was pull out of the writers ass but I can give them a pass.

What I can't though is the final scene between Blitzø and Stolas. Fuck you Stolas. Yeah, I guess it is a bit shitty that Blitzø thinks you're doing some kind of role-playing, but can you blame him when 90% of your interactions involve sex. Like you could send him a text message (we've seen you done that in the show with the whole Ozzie situation) to mention that you wanted to talk about something important instead of having sex on the full moon. Like you guys always fucking do. Maybe give him some time to process what you're actually doing. Instead of being an entitled asswipe expecting him to fall in your arms for this supposed noble thing that you're doing for him. I don't feel sorry for you. These are the consequences of your fucking actions. Grow the fuck up and act like a man instead of a whiny pissbaby.

couldn't have said it better myself. In a rational world, Stolas would die alone. But this is Viv Fujo World. They'll get back together somehow, and the fujos will rub thier clits clap with relief.

I kept rolling my eyes, especially at the last part. The big gay breakup was comically bad, because it was literally just middle school (if not even lower) tier fanfic writing, but I’m not surprised considering the two worst writers were in charge of the episode (Viv and that Adam guy). Besides that I have other criticisms: the sex jokes and meaningless, constant swearing were even more present in this episode than the previous ones. It almost feels like Vivzie added extra, just to spite all the people criticizing her for it. VERY unprofessional behavior.
Second thing is the sudden appearance of I.M.P. crew – why were they randomly spying on Blitz? It didn’t make any sense at all, they could’ve at least hidden them in the background for better effect of said “spying”. Anyway, it wasn’t the worst episode, just the regular shitty HB standard.

I watched S2E8, i feel like this is a weird episode because the cherubs take most of the episode so you'd think they're the A-plot and blitzo the B-plot but you know how the only thing the fandom will talk about is Stolitz, especially with how much ther marketed the episode. I glanced the subreddit and everyone is hating the cherubs for taking stolitz time.

1-Stolas hyper dramatic lyrics feel so unearned.

"I'll believe him and not the voices in my head that says i'm not enough".
"I will die alone if this goes wrong!"
"If he's only here as a prisoner what kind of monster am i?"
"My entire life has been set in stone, he thought me that i could choose."

Stolas sounds like he's going suicidal and thinks Blitzo is the only good thing that ever happened in his life. This is a fucking 36 year old father (also a demon and will live thousand of years) who decided his entire life hinges on the validation of this guy he barely knows and fucked a few times.

2-They dont know what to do with cherubs and dhorks so now both are one filler recurring joke villain i guess? The portal joke with the kids and the priests with rifles got a chuckle out of me but everything else was unfunny. Blitzo as no jokes beyond being a flaming horny faggot. The guys following blitzo seems like a bad excuse to have a fight scene, because there was no implication they would follow him or ever did before.

3-The ending is just retarded. I see everyone on reddit be all like "Noo blitzo why you so dense about his feelings uwu" except as far blitzo knows there were never feelings. Vivzie retconned Stolas into loving him but Blitzo remembers season 1. At the same time, this is a dumb gay breakup for drama and AAAAAANGST that is impossible to take seriously. Literally EVERYONE saw this coming. This show has become that predictable, like ai generated fanfic of itself.

Stolas will literally be like "who dares threaten my little imp plaything!" out loud and be shocked when the imp plaything gets upset over being treated like a toy.

That was... Bad.

I'm glad that the show took time from the transactional-but-actually-have-feelings-for-each-other yaoi bullshit to return to it's original premise (which it quickly rushed over, gotta have a Stolas song and monologue in there).

Getting a strong "I'm 15 and this is what I think relationships are" vibe from it. But this is Hazbin, so if the manipulative, exploitative rich guy is seen as the good guy, he IS the good guy, nevermind that he exploits or uses other people. God the first season was discarded/forgotten, even the character dynamic lay in ruin.

I love how this shit is bad in such a predictable way, you have the big breakup moment like Blitzo was ever in an actual relationship with some self-pitying owl incel who's a little TOO realistically narcissistic and manipulative compared to everyone else, and framing Stolas as if he's in the right or both sides being wrong somehow.
Seriously, Stolas is probably the worst person, morally, in the show, because everyone else does a bunch of cartoon shit that doesn't really happen in the real world (Even Valentino is just a caricature of what a 15 year old thinks a pimp is.) but I'm sure a ton of people, possibly even here, have met a Stolas before and seen firsthand just how exhausting they can be to deal with.

Few good from this episode the top point being the return of the not Mulder and scully and the agency. The fight with the cherubs in their suits was also pretty good. Even subversive with loona and Co pointing out how they stuck out like sore thumbs. More of that and drop the damn relationship angles.

Because yeah both blitz and stolas are acting like they have no idea how to express how they feel for each other and it's just so out of place in this show.
I'm 15 and this is what I think relationships are"
Hits the nail on the head. Blitz doesn't get stolas only wants to pursue a relationship if its got more meaning beyond "fuck me every month cause I'm a flaming homo that was forced into a straight marriage for bs reasons. " but stollas won't stop beating around the bush. He's using double speak and vague wording like a damn teenager. Him breaking it off was frankly all for the best.

I won't say hb has gotten better or is on the right track after so many fumbles but if it stops doimg less fluff amd filler like it it did in the a plot and does more like the b plot with the agency, the cherubs, and oh yeah goes back to its original premise of being revenge/murder Inc for sinners It could be on the (irony of ironies) road to redemption.

Is there some new rule with this season where only Millie or Loona can be the female character from the main cast with the most lines? Meanwhile, Fizzarolli has had more screentime than either of them in Season 2. Too bad we didn't see what was the job the I.M.P. team came back from. Have the D.H.O.R.K.S. agents been spying on the cherubs for some time or did they recently build mech suits where two of them are coincidently the same size and shape as two of the cherubs? For an episode titled "The Full Moon", there was a lack of said lunar phase.

What? You mean you don't feel anything for the cheating narcissistic devil owl who routinely neglects his only daughter in order to make time to force the imp butt slave who was forced to hang out with him as a kid into a transactional and almost entirely sexual relationship?

I guess you haven't read enough brain rotting Fujo manga to truly get Viv's vision.

I can only hope that with the other show off the ground now she can get it out of her system and we can go back to season 1 with season 3, PLEASE the gay relationships should be a sideshow not the main content like season 2 has been.

I'm watching people go delusional in real time like they watched the greatest romantic tragic since Romeo and Juliet

My bro how fucking gay and garbage is your conflict when it hinges on unironic misundestandings this shit is teen soap opera

While I'm glad that Stolas finally gave Blitzø an Asmodeun crystal (however the fuck you spell it), I am annoyed that another supposedly interesting conflict that was brought up in season 1 was solved in an anticlimactic way. IMP illegally going up to Earth that could get not only them but also Stolas in trouble could have been great drama with a slow burn. It definitely brought the stakes up that could have dramatic consequences for any of the characters. But now, well, IMP can go to Earth legally since Asmodeues gave them his blessing or whatever, and everyone involved can wash their hands of it because it doesn't matter anymore. No, lets focus on the way more interesting conflict of if Stolas and Blitzø will get together even though everyone knows that they will because the creator said so themselves. Just another reason to hate Stolas I suppose. Thanks Stolas. You really know how to disappoint me more and more.

The DHORKS mistook the Cherubs for demons and saw them in one of the areas they have surveillance in.

The mech suits are more of a “one size fits all” kind of deal.
