Hey Kiwi bros, what's it like having your urethral opening on the bottom of your penis close to your balls? Seems inconvenient.
Initially it felt like Miro had somehow placed my penis smack dab in the middle of the pubic hair on the public mound. TiM has SRS with a nobody surgeon and a Urologist who are both brand new to SRS. After he got the catheter out he wasn't able to pee properly. Went back to the ER in severe pain after a few days. The doctors struggled to give him a cath because his urethra is all blocked up and he has a bad UTI. Was bedridden for a week with the cath in. Returns to hospital to get the cath out and they find out he still can't pee out of it very well so he was given more antibiotics.
The surgeons won't talk to him and the regular doctors at the hospital tell him that it's probably just swelling but also say if it doesn't improve in 5 days they will send him to the urologist that did his SRS. They say it should be a quick and easy fix with surgery.
He's now 5 weeks post-op and is miserable and has constant bladder pain. To quote him

Where to start. Well had srs recently. before it was just an orchiectomy and well to make a long story short bottom dys got the best of me and the rest of me had to go.
After waiting two years to see the only doc covered by my insurance who is a local nobody in with a uni hospital i go in and was operated on. Srs was combined piv peritoneal pull through. The dude has only done this for two years. The other doctor dude he works with is a urologist. Also new to srs. Two man team. First dude did the plastic work on the vagina. Second dude worked internally on the urogenital tract and anchoring it all to my peritoneum.
I was urinating fine before surgery. Things looked good initially after surgery but after they pulled the cath all went downhill. First my stream was erratic and crazy but still coming out of me. Over the next two days it slowed down to the point where barely any pee came out
Finally i went into retention for almost two days went back to the er at said hospital. In severe pain about to burst. Thank god for oxy and gummies. they had to poke me like six times to get the cath in my urethra. When they did it felt like an arrow went into my body. Then i was stuck with a cath in a vagina literally created less than a week ago. Everything hurt just to move. Still able to dilate with pain meds in me. Sent home with cipro antibiotic as they found two uti germs in the cath urine. Pseudomonas aeru and some other gram neg bacilli. Bedridden until it came out a week later
Back into the hospital to get the cath out at that time and i still couldnt pee just trickle like. To further explain i am drinking eight glasses of water a day and im lucky to drain just maybe 50 to 100cc of urine in each sitting. Just tiny drops. My bladder feels full for half the day at least and life is really shit. Life is really really bad right now. Hard to desribe just how bad but i worry i ruined my pelvic health by having this surgery. Since i am still having problems peeing more cipro was given. Another 7 days.
Anyway i cant even communicate with my doctor just on call residents pas and nurses. They initially told me that it might just be normal swelling and inflammation since i am a very old patient in my late 30s. Now theyre saying that if in five days my urinary stream doesnt impprove that they are finally sending me to he urologist who did half my surgety who can fix it.
Saying it might be a flap of skin or a stitch or some scar tissue blocking it. Saying it might be a quick and easy fix. I dont know i think im fucked. I dealt with my bottom dysphoria well for years and this month post op has me so worried and frieaked out and so painful and all this trauma.
Has anyone else gone though anyhing like this? Im at near 5 weeks postop and im absolutely miserable and starting to worry i screwed myself up for life. I am still in near constant full retention and my bladder hurts constantly. If i save my pee until it starts to wet my pants sometimes i can sit on a toilet and pee about hald my pee out thats abot twice a day maybe.
I had a hard but ok life before surgery.. I passed mostly i had a good straight boyfriend. I seem to be blending into his friend group as well as i could. I gained a bunch of weight accidentally eating too much american food and now i have a literal hourglass body. If the srs just would go well my life would be really on the upswing. I feel like i fucked up. Anyone have anyone similary? Thoughts? Wisdom to fix? I feel mentally and physically and spiritually defeated.

Lived experience - I have post chemo peripheral neuropathy that is polyneuropathy. Gaba can take out the peak so you live on a baseline of pain, I take 4 x 2 500mg paracetamol daily so I can move.
My feet and abdomen are the main places. The tops of my feet just past where the nerves are dead feels like it burns constantly. I get shocks of pain a lot, I don't sleep well because anything covering my feet directly hurts. I have flares in my abdomen every 4 to 6 weeks where stuff swells and rubs and the signals go haywire. There's so much damage because of operations. It's put me in hospital so I get IV pain meds do I can sleep otherwise at home I catnap when exhaustion/codeine let me. So about 2 hours max every 6 maybe. Lidocaine patches help for the time I can wear them.
I have numb spots in my hands and no temperature tolerance. Things can get slightly over body temp and it feels like it's burning. Or it'll be actually dangerous and I feel nothing.
Shits fucked and they do this willingly? They deserve no medication for self inflicted damage.

You also have a lot of troons/pooners that transition because they hate themselves for their unusual interests in things outside of what is stereotypical for their sex and/or are depressed and so they want to try and LARP as somebody else to get away from their self-esteem issues.
In these cases, these people turn to self-destructive surgery and HRT in an attempt to self-medicate or escape themselves instead of resorting to drugs or alcohol as many of these individuals would have done before the trans craze.

The point of political lesbianism is that straight women would politically adopt lesbianism and leave men alone. No marrying men, no having their kids, and if political lesbians had sex with men, it would be very NSA. I meant it as a joke, but you bringing this up does make me think of something I remember from a bygone era of the internet, when troons had not yet evolved to dominate and the mighty r/incel still roamed the fields of reddit.
