Hitler was also a coke addict. Along with opioids, and meth, other stuff. I think I read somewhere the coke was in the eye drops his doctor was giving him.
Like a certain someone, he was also convinced he was right about everything and would never surrender.
Nah man. A lot of myths have been made about super evil Adolf doing ALL the drugs.
But they found the notebooks of Dr Morell after the war (David Irving wrote a book based on them if you’re interested) and most of his injections were fairly harmless vitamin and hormone concoctions.
The myth of junky Hitler was popular in both the US (where drugs are always used to demonize opponents) and in Germany, as the ex Wehrmacht officers could use it to foster the myth that they totally wouldn’t have lost the war if it wasn’t for that weirdo Hitler, and it was all his fault.
Göring was addicted to opiates, but by the time his addiction had gotten out of hand in 42 and onwards he was mostly a symbolic figure anyways.
