Occasionally funny, occasionally a-loggy, mostly harmless, these people sometimes paid her electric bill when she was going to be cold in Massachusetts. They were mostly unfunny oldfags, but they, like the Doctress, mainly meant well.

I can't say we are the Monster Truck Neutopians to Roy's Doctress. Roy simply doesn't inspire that level of sympathy. However, once in a while, the good @Bassomatic and others offer Roy a chance to improve himself. He refuses it, of course, but I give you guys credit for trying.

In honor of that and the interesting story you shared I think I'll do a devil's advocate and play totally unqualified shrink.

Also, while I don't know of the proto cow you mentioned, while a sad story there's something about how troll groups make a persona that's always hilarious. Grilling and monster trucks as the path to the future, is just great comedy and foil to someone's utopia ideals.

With that out of the way, my totally biased unrealistic and no research based devil's advocacy for Dr. Roy.

Roy like many has dreams of fame wealth and power. Most who lust after this are aware it's hard work, the rich idle are a very small group with in the group of the rich and powerful.

Roy seems unaware of this, perhaps indoctrination from a family member, bad professor or his chosen media outlets.

So the idea of a CEO is going to suck him in as we know before the Musk incident and after he dropped out of college first time (unaware why) he admitted to working menial jobs. Roy was the working stiff dead end a lot of 20 somethings have that period.

Roy then somehow ends up making a complete fool of himself in front of Elon becoming world famous in a bad way.

This would cause lots of anger and Elon both didn't do what he wanted but didn't go "wow kid you got drive" and at least let him explain. Hence Roy is freniemes with Elon. He still wants in his good graces but when Elon's chips are down Roy gloats.

Roy has for some reason and it seems he has a narcissistic streak left the work force for a long time.

Somehow he gets it into his head to try college again, and confusing to myself more than anyone Roy both graduated and managed a broker license, one frankly id estimate I'd need 6 months to study and still wouldn't promise my fellows a first time pass.

Roy made it in and quickly learned entry level brokers aren't the wolf of wall Street. This confuses and angers him. Hence the firm idea that winds up getting him sanctioned and fired. Instead of a wake up call what a broker is, he feels ok I traded a few shares I can manage a hedge fund of billions. Dunning Kruger much?

Dejected we all can agree Roy's anger is growing. He tries to act like a victim, because it's his best way to defend his behavior. He just can't own up he failed at the basic levels when he wants to be the top.

Roy seems to be very out of touch with trends and society. Part of it is due to his clear social problems, guy can't string a sentence together.

I've joked about it before but meant with some honesty he's like a 2010 SJW (and I feel cringe even using that term anymore) and feels if he points out he's not white he gets anything he wants. Double that with him being angry and thinking it's "okay" to insult whites and the United States he's going to use the punching bags he can safely from Twitter.

His anger also comes from shame. There's no way even with his narcissistic traits he's not looking in the mirror with a burning hate. Sure he's got a huge ego thinking honestly he's qualified to do much of anything let alone run major corps of he's worthy of the title Dr. But at times for all narcs, the mask slips.

The people who make him see the real him seem to be the biggest foes. It's probably why he's so mad at his family despite them paying the bills. A simple "so uhh why don't you flip burgers to help out?" Would remind him how much a drain he is and send him into anger mode.(Id like to side note there are still active mailroom CEOs out there so it's more proof Roy lacks hustle.) I assume this is probably why we have the philly police grudge as well. Roy snapped after being told a blunt truth. The fact the police showed up, random ass people got mixed up in his family drama is embarrassing.

Any of us would be devastated to have cops show up and have to explain why they were in a shouting match. They did their job and made sure there was no chance of violence. But still put yourself in the shoes of someone fighting with the wife and the cops show up. Everyone sees, the rumors, fear of jail etc.

Instead of owning up and growing Roy lashes out. It's also why he keeps a "not" hit list. I've warned him before and will so again. This is a terrible idea for someone who's had run ins with glowies.

Roy won't tell us the truth why he bumped into feds but I highly doubt it's just being cringe in front of Elon like he claimed . His COVID concentration camp idea was after fed visit and might have got someone a knock. So it's still a mystery.

The time I really felt pity for Roy was at the music open house. I've given a pretty good explanation of how to get into the industry in the exact city he wants to. How to and doing are two way different things I know. But we saw him there recording himself just sitting off to the side like a goomba.

@Bassomatic , I respect what you're trying to do for Roy here, but I fear I can't agree with your conclusions. Like a good devil's advocate, you are emphasizing the best points for your client, but I think there are other facts which cast things in a different light, at least for me.

Roy didn't hustle for multiple decades as far as I can tell, or at least not to any effect. I believe he cited some dismal figures for his total income during that time, and it amounted to well under $10K per year. Not only did he not advance in his career, he would barely have done any paying work in that time. Lean years can be a fact of life, but lean decades, especially when he had a wife and child to provide for? That's a disgrace.

There was no reason for Elon to praise Roy's drive. All Roy did was demand something for free, for no good reason. There's no hustle there, just as he has none now. He's just lazy, dumb, and presumptuous.

As for his degree and license, there's no way he didn't cheat his way into both. Remember how he whines that people call him shady? When that many people think you're sketchy, you are. That's how he lost out on his one chance to make it. He did sketchy, shameful stuff. How could he possibly have mastered the material to get a series legitimately? He can't even write a few paragraphs without fucking it up.

I'll also notice that Roy has gotten a lot of attention from law enforcement. You argue that he's harmless. I am not so sure. His rage and his fantasies of magical revenge on others who are doing better than he is tell me a different story. The only thing that makes him less harmful is his laziness, and a minute of rage could overcome that. His wife and child would be the likeliest targets for his anger.
