Anyways...
I just found out Kiki has collab'ed with another vtuber, Ant Hime:
Oh she was brought up

Ant Hime had some 30 seconds of internet (in)famy because she brought up old drama between a fairly large artist turned vtuber creator for 2nd largest EN agency VShojo named Froot, previously known as BSApricot. There is a fair amount of autism surrounding her due to her old pandering to 4chan weapons board /k/ and minor drama such as not delivering patches and the fact that she allegedly cheated on her active british serviceman husband when he was deployed, Ant Hime had a couple videos made about the subject but they all got striked down by Froot's current agency

BSApricot Aka Froot's other notable happenings was the fact that a "far-right" tracking website actually logged a fair amount of her messages in a discord leak archive, she likes to pretend she never said slurs and presents herself as an uwu victim of online harassment, to the point where her own mother has made a twitter account to openly sperg fight her detractors (https://x.com/MotherOfLiches)

It almost feels like VTubing was meant to replace idol shit. Like some nip in a suit realized that idol spergs were deranged morons who were easy to split from their money, and everything since then is "how to cut out the performer". They tried with anime, but that just led to Seiyuu (read: voice actor) sperging. They tried with vocaloids to some success. Then they tried VTubers, with the first big VTuber notably being a Text-to-Speech "AI" (pretty sure some faceless suit was pressing the buttons to make the digital puppet dance). They were close, but no cigar and they had to revert to human performers. Over time, the VTubing shit would stray from idol shit and just become like any other Internet personality stuff (yes, including shitty companies popping up like Machinama 2.0s).
That's honestly what they're trying to do. It's cheaper for one. With a "real" idol, you have to deal with live performances and all this shit. There's also the issue that it's basically confined to Japan. Anyone can do Vtubing with minimal startup cost. Minimal maintenance too. The company doesn't need to pay for costumes or makeup or any of that. Give them a avatar and they're good to go.

Technically you're right but wrong in a small sense if that makes sense?

With Vtubing, I'll go with what I understand of Hololive. They pay for artists (Could be a couple hundred or so for the art itself), then a rigger (lets say there's like 10 toggles) which costs thousands of dollars due to the amount of work they have to do to get things to match up like with talking and eye tracking, then they need the talent to have decent streaming equipment which is about as much as you'd expect for anybody starting up and they need eye trackers.

If they want to do those Live 3D concerts, they cost thousands as well because of the music they need to produce (often it's done with other studios which can be thousands), the 3D models (thousands again for tracking and the suits to go with them). Some people think that the idols don't do the dances themselves others do. Either way that too will cost money given the studio or they'd have to pay for dancing lessons/singing lessons (for if it's the talent doing it). Otherwise, they'd have to pay for professionals (God knows why) which still costs plenty of money.

For an amateur? It's easily going to be thousands still for a decent model + the equipment for eye tracking and streaming.

Overall, these costs are offset by the successes of the company and talents. It's why Hololive can afford to do these big events like their upcoming night at the Dodgers Stadium in July(?)

Thats why I said minimal start up costs. The big companies make the 3d models in house, so that cost is a Japanese guys salary, which probably isn't much. As for the actor... they probably were a neet making nothing. They'll sign a contract that takes nearly everything if it means they get something. Vs a actual Idol. They kinda have to be hot to start with. Which is a massive filter. Then you got to pay for filming, driving them around, makeup, costumes, acting shit, security, etc. In the long run Vtubing is cheap as fuck.

Randbots retard cohost didn't take the Jim disapproval very well

I like how that retard Rand made Gaydurr's defense of "I didn't look into her past" way harder by bragging about how he knew that Kiki freak for over a year and how they apparently met IRL. It took autists a couple minutes to find clips of her rating fetishes like toddlercon and rape so X to fucking doubt.

Do you really think she'd be able to keep it up for eleven fucking hours?
It looks like most of her stuff is 3-5 hours. 16 videos last month, 10 two months ago, and 10 the month before that. That's an hours-long stream every two or three days.

Like, we already know that people can have weird, gay voices. You've watched MATI, haven't you?

She's a amateur voice actor, and can manipulate her voice well:
(1:00 is the timestamp you want.)
Also, I had to see this and so now you all have to suffer:
The real question isn't whether her natural voice is or isn't coincidentally perfect for cunnyfags, but why are you invested in defending this freak?

And while digging for voice clips, I found this:
"The ideal women is clearly Shondo [falllenshadow]" - Pippa Pipkins
Apparently the two are friendly enough to know each other on Discord.

Wow, two whole posts. You sure got me. One saying that I was going to defend her until I saw that guy's post, and one defending myself for thinking that it's her real voice.

So is that two barrels of Promethium, or one?
