Still, I agree completely with you both. They are addicts, only in pornography as opposed to narcotics. And the worst thing is that people don't see pornography as an addiction because "people can consume pornography and still function in society - in fact they know of couples who may use softcore to spice up the relationship and are doing pretty well", and thus they play down the concerning points of those who say otherwise; while narcotics and ilegal drugs are hard to say "well, I know people who use ketamine and cocaine, a small dose of MDMA and they are doing just fine."
