So, there's been another update regarding the playbill situation. People who paid for it still haven't received them and instead got another LARP apology. This time from Charlie, blaming Alastor and Niffty for the delays. Truly, a show for grown adults and not teenagers. Fucking hell, what a mess.

Ah there's the reason I keep up with this thread. This is one of the most unprofessional embarrassing fucking things I have read in a very long time. Just the whole context of it really twists the blade to inflict maximum cringe damage to me.

You simply do not have enough time. Maybe if HH had 20 episodes a season it could work, but you have 8.
Season 1 was bad enough with people completing their season long character arcs in 5 minutes, serious conflicts being introduced and resolved in just one episode. I don't even want to image what shitshow season 2 will be.

You left out the part where any villainous characters are immediately turned good after one episode.

In the community, the lesser liked episodes are the ones that don't have that narcissistic prick. The lowest rated episodes are literally the ones where the imps do their job. Back when the show actually was focusing on its premise.

The majority of the audience preferred generic wattpad angst, and now they've eaten their cake and they have to suck up with finishing the crumbs because this is what they asked for and this is what they're getting. I know most don't care cause they have the thinking skills of a Rotten Tomatoes critic. But the ones that are aware of the real mistakes of the show are now starting to realize but it's far too late. They supported this Hallmark melodrama blamefest and now they have to watch the fire burn, too.

It's insecure woman-on-insecure woman high school politics. "Oh there wasn't any communication not that that would've helped because my own social skills are poor and I end up making everything about me". That sounds like every female on the team given how notoriously difficult it is for a bunch of "professional" women (especially "artists") to actually work together without there being any infighting or gossiping behind each other's backs.

I refuse to believe that Millie "cares about one flag color so much she lide about her own sexuality", especially when everyone around her is being honest.

This screams "someone at twitter REEEE'd at me for putting a C*S H*TERO in a pride parade and now i have to pull schrodinger straight and pretend they're lgbt too".

It's also ironic cause at least Millie served as the "Token straight ally" but now the art implies that either no straight people support the parade or that straight people arent allowed to participate.

My question is simple: WHY? Aren’t demons capable of shapeshifting? Why do they need surgery? Why do they have to merely dress as the opposite sex? Does it apply to only certain demons and not imps?

Remember when, in Helluva's pilot, Blitzo called Moxxie retarded, and then, in the episode where Loona gets her rabies shot in Season 2, he starts to call the receptionist one, but stops short and says, "we can't say that word anymore"? Depicting a wolf mauling people is A-OK, but calling someone *gasp!* the R-WORD?! No no no no, that's too much!

Two pages late reply but there's a reason why some people call Viv's hell a safe space Hell. It's edgy and ADULT and EVIL but they're more limiting and censor-happy than a 4Kids censorship of popular shows. Why you think the Deadly Sins are no different than your average celebrity? Why you think there's contradictory morals in this show where protagonists can do whatever and no one bats an eye but if an antagonist does the same, that's when the moral alarm's ringing?

Remember, the fandom consists of the same people to talk about being against the man and breaking norms. They talk about their angst and edginess but hearing the dreaded r-word's enough to leave them under a panic attack and a 15-paged Twitter thread about how ableist and fascist Vivziepop is. They don't want to be provocative, they just want to be progressively provocative.

My god this is embarrassing. Firstly, weren't these playbills already done before the show aired, but they decided not to send them out because there would be spoilers? Maybe they decided to add more content because of the initial delay, but you think it would have been done a couple of months ago at least. But even for whatever reason why they haven't been sent out yet, why do this little rp of a fictional explanation on why the playbill haven't come out yet? Like the real explanation? I wonder if the people who bought this are annoyed by this bullshit, or just are okay with this because "Charlie said it".

I was only mentioning that almost all ex-employees experienced miscommunication problems (and the obvious favoritism Viv has for certain employees). But that doesn't excuse the faults of the ex-employees. It sounds like most of them have never worked on an actual show until now. If you don't know what the showrunner wants, ask them. If the showrunner doesn't give a good answer, that's on them. But you can't just sit there, nodding your head like you understand everything when it's clear that you don't. This is a stressful and tough industry to work in, and it's clears that a lot of these people just aren't cut out for it. At the end of the day, it's just a bunch of inexperienced people working for inexperienced people.

Well, Wally Wackford is there and he's straight....I think. I just find it funny because Millie is the supportive straight woman for Moxxie, but I guess Vortex won't go to support his girlfriend. And I'm sure people would say "well there's only so much space in the drawing". And to that I say, "Okay, maybe remove some of the literal nobodies that you wouldn't know the names of unless you read Viv's Twitter posts". There now you have some space. Did Viv literally forget about him? Or are they trying to imply that he is a bigot as well lmao

The problem is that western writers, usually straight man/women, can only write like, 3 types of lesbian couples.

To be fair I think most animated western media has never had the best compelling romances. Which is to be expected when aiming for an 8-11 demographic.

The only exceptions are Octus and Kimmy from Sym-Bionic Titan and maybe Aang and Katara from Avatar.

Everything else is some variation of the plucky loser trying to get noticed by the girl of his dreams, and maybe the "rivals who totally don't like each other" thrown in every now and then.

Frankly I'm ok with less dumb romantic drama and tension in Hazbin, because it's currently ruining Helluva and a lot of other modern cartoons.

Kim possible and Ron eventually become a couple in the last season and everyone collectively liked that because it made sense and both were still funny and cute together. There is no need to have Ron spend multiple episodes feeling sad about not being good enough for Kim because he is. Kim always saw Ron as an equal and vice versa. There is no drama.

A lot western media will either commit the worst sin a comedy/action cartoon can make, have the couple be BORING or kill the plot for the sake of a heartbroken sadboy arc. Vivzie did both with Chaggie and Stolitz.

Because that's what Vaggie has been doing this entire time. Everything has been done for Charlie.
