Re: The ticket question, it turns out they were in the expo center, a ~36000 sq ft space.
Compare the layout of some AFPAC 4 pics to a 3D guided tour of the Expo Center(the 3d aspect is probably fucking with the perspective), note the steel beam, far door layout, and arrangement of the hallway. Some renos have been done, e.g. the floor decal has moved.

There's also some videos on the google maps page of the Russell Industrial Center, specifically the view facing the opposite direction of the Nick pic, where you can see the beam layout lines up, as well as the chain link fence or whatever on the catwalk:

So, with the location out of the way, looking at an occupant load estimate from the internet(i.e., pulling numbers out of my ass):

Seeing as the event was a blend of tabled/seated attendees, and other things(not filling it up 100%, making sure attendees can see the stage, an area for exhibitors - a la AFPAC 2, the sissy hypno chamber, catboy grooming salon, etc.), what's a reasonable number? Well, if you look at the stage relative to the venue space(note the stairs on the right hand side and the catwalks, again, perspective is fucked):

Here's the overhead view of the expo center, estimated stage location in red, the likely unused/exhibitor area in blue(for reference, the stage to the back is over 200ft, the blue box starts at the ~100ft mark):

So, calling it 40% as an easy number, 5142 * 0.4 = ~2057 people. Let's call it 2000(lmao).

... and interestingly enough, this is still up on the AFPAC 4 website at the time of posting(927 general admission tickets remained unpurchased):

So, 2000 people, 927 general admission not sold, ignore the table tickets unsold(caught by rounding down to 2000). In conclusion, while 2000 isn't actually an impossible number based on the venue size, it's probably closer to 1000 people based on the above. If you estimate 60% of the space for seating instead of 40%, that's around 3,085 spots, which would put him above the 2k mark if you rerun the numbers with the same assumptions.

This has nuance to it. The general theory is correct (especially mentioning the heavy Chaldean presence in the meeting hall biz) but there are heavy duty Jewish enclaves in the Detroit metro. 696 literally has overpasses with parks built on top of them so the Orthos in Oak Park can walk to the temple on Saturdays.
