My first thought is someone's stealing. Either her or her junkie-affiliated friend. It's kind of funny to imagine her fresh out from a spinal infection shoving cheesecake and fake nails into her purse. She must be doing well pain-wise.
It looks like Luna has a microwave and mini fridge in her room, and she also has a flat screen TV. When she gave that description of her living conditions, she spoke about getting channels 'on an antenna' and I pictured her actually with a large boxy TV moving around a silver telescoping antenna. She said they have no kitchen, but she didn't add that they have a microwave and mini-fridge. I include these re-posted pics only bc in the first one you can see the stainless steel of the fridge, and in the 2nd one is a microwave, on top of the fridge probably. That's a pretty different picture than what she painted, and I'll be holding back on empathy w/ her in the future.

So the "bff" is made up, right? Which also means Luna is the one claiming another "friend" (also her) stole her Xanax and money. That's probably a story she came up with to cry to her mom or maybe dad with. She likely just hit them up for a round of mooching like a couple days ago and doesn't want to admit she burned through it all, and is hoping to try and squeeze them again.
By the way, that's not a Coke, it's Pepsi, lardass. Nothing like cheesecake, fruit smoothies, and full sugar Pepsi washed down with a half dozen Ensure (y'know, to get your calories in). She's posted about this woman before. Seems like someone she met at the clinic and has a mostly transactional relationship with. It pays to have 'friends' when you're hard up. Even if they're equally hard up. She also posted once about having sushi w/ her a photo of their sushi trays, but I can't find it. I think she really is a 'friend' of hers, but, if she's that great of a friend and they're super close, where was she when Tuna was in the hospital? Luna just has to try to make her life sound exciting and enviable, I think. There's a lot of cig smoking and waiting that happens at the methadone clinic, and much trading of pills etc, so you can meet lots of peers.

There's a kid (late teenager) that I've seen reposted on fb/yt at random times, I believe that he has a TikTok channel. He's homeless, his mum is too. He bought a cheap little hotplate and saucepan, and memorised public power access points in his area. He knows what shops will sell heavily discounted food and when, and with his hotplate and general willingness to eat anything that fits in one saucepan and won't kill him, he's able to have at least one hot meal a day very cheaply. It's not a well rounded diet, but food is food.
Luna and Lurch have electricity, a fridge, a microwave, and the ability to store bulky, heavy items like potatoes and rice, and a decent, quality hotplate.
There is no reason why they can't eat consistently, albeit boring food. Fucking bogan.

I don’t think it’s just dental but also double chins and looking like an old sack of shit with greying stubble. He looks like what he is, a gross, stinky old homeless guy.
You can pull off the dirtbag look in your 20’s, but not in your 30’s and beyond. Lurch just looks like exactly what he is - a poor, gross, dirty, loser drug addict most would cross the street to avoid.
I think this bothers Lurch way more than Luna. Luna romanticized the junkie life as a teen whereas Lurch actually fantasizes about being rich and successful (as we’ve seen from his “real estate” and baseball fantasy posting). Lurch as a teen probably dreamed of being a rich baseball player, owning a penthouse and some expensive car.
Luna thinks she’s at least living the Sid & Nancy life. Lurch dreamed of the A-Rod lifestyle, not the Kurt Cobain life. The reason he even sports some the grunge style is due to Luna and it being pretty much the only option for a style when you’re a junkie. Secondhand tees and baggy pants are all he can scrounge up and afford for a “style” but if he had any money he’d be wearing Nikes, gold jewelry and Adidas.

I think he just wants to look tough really. Put on a smug thug face and have some cool shades on, he's always done it in pics with Luna. He only started wearing the surgical mask more when Covid came around but he's always worn shades. The pic below is somewhat of a comparison with Lurch being caught off guard vs him having time to do a cool face.
But throughout all the LCF and KF threads, she's never outright stated if Lurch has any health issues. She said he got grand mal seizures (it was just from xanax withdrawal, not epilepsy like she claimed), that he got hit by a car and now has a rod in his leg, that he was "emancipated" (Lunaspeak for emaciated), and that's all I can remember. People have speculated that he wears the surgical mask and sunglasses so if he's caught on CCTV doing some illicit shit it'd be easier to get away with it. I wouldn't doubt he's got a couple brown/orange dead teeth in his mouth like Luna does though.
Wait, they do? I never noticed this but then again Luna always leaves out details that make her situation seem more liveable, of course to get more gibs and pity donations. Luna isn't living as badly as she said she was, but that's the thing with her, when she has something that helps her she ignores it completely, when she doesn't have it she makes it everyone's problem and considers them necessities. She really needs to just suck it up and eat some canned food, at least it has some nutrients unlike the sugary shit she eats.
