A perfect example is this photo, literally just taken by a passerby with a camera right when FDR died, it became iconic that year but it wasn't staged or planned and only exists because a guy with a camera was walking past and thought it would look nice.
Like the mirrors in B3 during season 2, one time it perfectly framed 3 people talking and people questioned if that was deliberate, as if Jet put the mirrors in such a way and had the people stand in such a way during a casual conversation.
Allow me to sperg about street photography for a moment. The pioneer of street photography Henri Cartier-Bresson said:Things line up sometimes and when they do it's great. When they don't, you don't think about it.
I have fucked up so many shots just by hesitating, or fiddling with my camera for too long. Next thing you know, the moment is gone forever. I was told that a photographer's yield is that only 10 out of 100 shots aren't garbage. I think Jet definitely has an inspired and artistic vision, I miss the S2 house and vibe so much. Despite being packed with stuff, every room had a different color/design. If I saw a screenshot, or caught a flash of something on the director cam, I immediately knew where to look. But then again, Jet isn't a lone cinematographer or director he can't take all of the credit. He also always has camera rolling, so he doesn't have to concern himself with fleeting moments. I guess I'll just ramble about what I miss about the S2 house and post miscellaneous photos.Photography is not like painting, There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera. That is the moment the photographer is creative. Oop! The Moment! Once you miss it, it is gone forever.
Sam is such an imposing and colorfully costumed character, he dominates almost any shot he's in and it turns into a slapstick bit. He also has comedic timing and framing that no other wigger can match. I remember in this photo, he told Summer to stand in the closet and read to him. When any other wigger did these talks w/fish, they'd be opposite each other on the beds. Who tf reads with the book stretched out while standing, when you could sit on two beds, or have your back against the wall? Sam does! because he know's where the fucking camera is and what the camera can see!

I miss the indoor CCTV's. It had a very intimate, almost voyeuristic feel. People always forgot about them, but some were still aware of their placement and how it looks on screen, and composed the shot accordingly. With the cameramen running around the S2.5 campsite, the fish are always eyeballing the camera (cough tay cough). I don't usually like bisecting my photos in half, it breaks the common "rule of thirds" aphorism. This camera was probably my least favorite because of the bisected staircase, and I only used it to check on whos coming up from the basement. However, this screenshot is excellent. They'd been lying to TJ saying Taylor had left or something, keeping him upstairs.

Finally, I take credit for this screenshot, I didn't get this one from anywhere and I took it myself. @Gaunt King Ithan Rilph

Your homework: post your favorite screenshots and share why you like it.
