I expected more from someone who took on the loins of the illustrious child of Azupiranu, the overthrower of the first emperor, the king of Totality, to be worth of a legendary name. The actual Sargon's remains must do flips on the tomb of his undiscovered city. As unworthy as Carl is though, I don't think he is a Dramacow. Firstly, political stances often unveil the imbecile within everyone, even from perfectly sound individuals: indeed, does that make a reactionnary or avant-gardist snob a cow? The guy is a twerp, I agree, but a well balanced twerp who is the head of a functioning household.
Then, the fellow is simply put a bundle of snore. He embodies the counter example of why I think someone MUST demonstrate an ability to summarize. Sargon isn't as on board the Trump train as a lot of his peers are. I watched a bit of that Kevin Logan discussion and he's willing admit Trump has some significant flaws. As for whether he'll call Trump out... I dunno, he's shown in the past he's willing to go against the alt-right even if it's unprofitable for him so who knows?
